“I’ve been here twice. The first time, I got the brisket sando with duke chips which was very yummy. The second time, I got the smash burger with the mac n cheese, which was yummy too! My family had the smoked brisket and the lamb neck. I tasted those too and they were delicious. The food looked exactly like what was shown on the menu and the portion sizes were generous! Sharon was lovely and very attentive and provided excellent customer service.”

“A truly wonderful experience! As soon as we sat down, they brought out a free soup and salad before we even ordered — such a generous touch that made us feel really welcome. The portions are huge — one main dish is easily enough for two people! Prices are very reasonable, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was both professional and genuinely friendly. “I visit this lovely cafe once a year because it is just down the road from where I get my car serviced and mot’d. They open at 8.30 (ish) and let me sit in until my car is ready - which is very kind of them. They also serve a really nice breakfast baguette and keep the tea coming. They are very friendly and helpful.”

“The Fig Tree is a proper, charming pub that truly captures the traditional British atmosphere. The building is historic and the interior is cosy and welcoming, making it the perfect local spot for any day of the week. The food is excellent pub grub; I highly recommend their phenomenal Sunday Roast. “Amazing food and service. I stayed at the hotel with my daughter and we tried the bar restaurant for dinner. The lamb curry was one of the best I have had. My daughter loved her burger which looked great too. Definitely recommend finding.. not sure what the other people reviewing were looking for but you just have to come into the hotel and ask for the restaurant”
