“I recently visited Rosa’s Thai – Wimbledon and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal or dining with friends. The food is delicious, full of authentic Thai flavors, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. What impressed me the most was the service from Aui, one of the servers. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. She gave great menu recommendations and made sure everything went smoothly from ordering to paying the bill. Her excellent service really made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience — tasty food and outstanding service. If you’re in or around Wimbledon, I highly recommend stopping by!”

“Sitting in the car in the rain after Hampton Court Flower Show we stumbled on the Thai Courtyard googling for somewhere to have dinner. How lucky were we! Lovely staff were so welcoming and the food was fantastic. Would certainly some again and anyone wanting a Thai treat in the area should not miss visiting.”

“Went here after watching Dune Part 2 in the incredible Olympic Studios across the road. The staff were incredible and welcoming and the general hubbub of the restaurant made the experience feel warm. All the food was beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and, most importantly, delicious! The service was quick and there were ample options for people who had dietary needs and there were plenty of equally delicious vegetarian options available. I am definitely going to come here again!”

Som Tum was probably the best we've had in London and the lamb massaman was just so tender and well balanced. Prices were great and portions were good sizes. Definitely highly recommended.”

“Visited for lunch with a colleague. The most gorgeous interior!!! For £7 you can have a starter and a main. The beef masaman curry was gorgeous and the spring rolls and prawn toast were both crispy and delicious. Waited no more than 10 minutes for the food. Only mini gripe was that it was absolutely freezing in there but I'll be going back regardless, again and again!”

“We had the buffet menu, the food was nice and freshly cooked. It isn't a typical buffet where you can help yourself. It is table service and you can only have 2 dishes from either the starters and mains at any time, once you finish those dishes you can keep ordering from the same menu as many times as you like. Dishes typically take 15-20 mins to arrive. You get 2 hours and drinks are not included. The staff are really pleasant and friendly and it's a nice location on the waterfront with paid for parking nearby.”

“I honestly am surprised why this place does not have a higher rating than Rosa’s Thai!! It’s waay better and more authentic and flavourful. Even the omelette tastes sooo good. The only thing my friend and I were not keen was the food was not super hot, it was warm, which is great for our tongue but we wanted to eat something really hot to keep ourselves warm in the cold weather.”

“I’ve been to many restaurants, those which include restaurants that have multiple Michelin stars. I am super critical with reviews, but I never thought it would come to the day I would say this.. but this food “is food that brings you back home… back home to your mother”. That’s so rare in this day and age and think how much of an expert someone has to be to create that with Thai food for someone coming from Sri Lankan origin. Every ingredient is fresh, the blend of spices, the quality of meat and the food expertly made brings a dish which is truly homemade and delicious. I have never experienced anything that tastes truly homemade from a restaurant outside the home. I feel great after eating this too compared to other takeaways as it’s so natural. This is hands down the best restaurant in St Albans. Kat and her partner are such a superb couple running this restaurant, they are incredibly kind and accommodated to a special birthday request. They both came out and greeted us, which was super kind of them and proved many things but the biggest.. this is homemade food, food made from the heart. You want to try true Thai food.. don’t bother with the £800 flight, come here - to this very place a drive away in a lovely home situated in St Albans and you will experience it first hand. “Arguably the best value in town. Very delicious and authentic southeast Asian cuisine. We had a chicken spring roll and the fried rice. The spring roll is crispy on the outside and moist inside with an authentic taste we haven’t tasted elsewhere in London. The fried rice is fragrant and not oily. Everything is just right. It is also a decent big portion. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.”

“This is probably the best Pan Asian restaurant we have tried in London. Great for casual meals or special celebrations! We tried everything from sushi, bao buns, green curry to noodles. Do not miss their lotus stem dish, mushroom baos & chilli paneer. The kaffir tiramisu is to die for. Great aesthetics too. Special thanks to manuel for looking after us. “We had a fantastic experience at Banana Tree! We ordered the Pad Thai and Katsu Curry - both dishes were absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of tang and spice, while the Katsu Curry was rich, comforting, and generously portioned. A special shoutout to Paula, who was absolutely lovely throughout our visit. Her warm, attentive service really made our meal even more enjoyable. It’s always a pleasure to be looked after by someone so friendly and professional. Highly recommend Banana Tree if you’re looking for tasty food and great service. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Came here for dinner. Service was quick, and the food was served fresh. I ordered the duck and rice combo — it made me think life is worth living. The duck was tender, soft and very tasty, probably the best I’ve ever had! The portion was generous (enough for two meals for me). I also ordered the mango green tea with homemade grass jelly — it was very refreshing after a long day.”

“ordered a kung po chicken , egg fried rice and salt and chilli pepper chicken. i believe it took less than 15 minutes for the whole order to be prepared. food tasted really good and quite worth for its price (20£) as I’ve got half left over and im quite a big eater. The kung po chicken doesn't really taste like the authentic ones I’ve had and leans towards the sweet and sour side but it still tastes good nonetheless. Will definitely be back (a bag of prawn crackers was also given)”
