“We went to Lumpini'son a recommendation from a local, and they were right to recommend it. It's not posh, and perhaps looks a little tired, but we had a warm welcome, excellent service and fantastic food. Mixed starter was lovely, everything was crispy and tasty, and it was served with a selection of dipping sauces that included the best peanut sauce I've ever had. The duck red curry was warming and creamy with beautifully tender duck. The drunken noodles were tasty and filling, all the other dishes were great too. We finished with banana fritters and lychees which were both good and alongside a Bailey's coffee made the perfect end to our meal. Special mention to our waiter whose jokes made our night.”

“Very nice Thai food in a slightly quieter street in Kingston. We were the first people in on a Saturday evening, so the service was very prompt and friendly. We ordered Pad Thai, Grilled Chicken and plain Jasmine Rice — along with a Tiger Lager and some Jasmine Tea. Pad Thai was very nice, with not much spice, and they did give you the option to add heat with chilli flakes which were on the side of the plate. The grilled chicken had lovely flavour with nice crispy bits of skin, but the salad was fairly spicy. Definitely recommend if you're into Thai or other Asian cuisines.”

“My partner and I had a wonderful time at Patara. The service was first class with very friendly and welcoming staff, who were very knowledgeable of the dishes on the menu. The food would give the high end restaurants a run for their money, our dishes were well flavoured and the meats/fishes in the meals were very tender, which enhanced our dining experience. Very happy couple and will be bringing families on our next visit - hopefully sooner than later!!”

“I have never been in but have always ordered takeaway. The food is brilliant, really recommend their curries, the gaeng panang is my favourite. their starter selection is great, the meat is always succulent, and as someone who enjoys a good king prawn... they don't disappoint!”

From the moment we stepped in, the warm and attentive service set the tone for the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home and ensuring every detail was taken care of. As for the food, it was nothing short of spectacular. “A restaurant with delicious and authentic Thai fare. The two of us were stuffed with one appetizer, a meat dish and a bowl if rice. Didn't check the wine list but soft drinks are pretty affordable. Dishes were served hot and freshly prepared. The server kindly offered chopsticks yet it was a little inconvenient to use with plates not bowls. One thing worth noting was that the heater wasn't strong enough to warm us up - girls sitting next table needed to cover their knees with coats.”

“What an amazing culinary experience in this unique Thai-Bengali restaurant in Hornchurch Every single dish hit the mark amazing food , fantastic service the owner and front of house Shoomana was so hospitable. The best Bengali food we have ever had one of our friends was a chef and said he hasn’t had this good food ever in a restaurant. I can’t recommend this place enough we travelled a 100 miles for this well worth it . Don’t miss out on this one.”

“Good quality food. We had a platter for 2 as starters. The plating was a feast to the eyes. Very classic Thai tastes with matching sauce for each kind of starter. Tom Ya Soup contains a good amount of ingredients and prawns cooked to the right degree so that they were not dried or tough from overcooked. Green curry was served with a choice of different rice. At first we had sticky rice to go with it but the curry was in such a good portion and so tasty that it’s a waste to throw away after the first bowl of rice. So we had another bowl of coconut rice to finish the remaining curry. Very glad that we had lunch there!”

“Spontaneously decided to drop in for “dinner for one”, since my dinner date had to stay home. The food was amazing and very authentic and probably the best Thai food I’ve had in a restaurant outside of Thailand. It’s made with love and there is no holding back with flavor and portion sizes. It makes the experience even better because they are truly there to serve good food and fill you up! I ordered the stuffed chicken wings and an order of the glazed ribs as a starter and for main I ordered spicy noodles with prawn. I was also served a basket with shrimp crackers and some chili oil and that was a nice touch. The service was very very good and I will definitely be returning next time I visit St.Albans! I brought some Tom Ga Kai back home for the sick husband and he really enjoyed it piping hot as it came. Thank you and please don’t change much till next time!”

“Great local spot - a little taste of Thailand in West London. This is very authentic Northern Thai food with fresh and delicious seafood specials. I had the sea bass and pad kaprao. It was really flavourful and reminded me of the food I ate in Thailand. The staff are friendly and really hospitable. Looking forward to eating here again soon!”

The food was very tasty, and the service was good. The menu was extensive, which made it a bit challenging to choose, so we had to ask for recommendations. We ordered starters and a main course and all really enjoyed our meals. the restaurant was clean, well decorated and had gentle music playing in the background which provided a very nice atmosphere. “The restaurant is tucked away on the first floor of the Royal Lancaster London Hotel. You enter through the elegant marble foyer, head up the stairs, and turn right. It sets the tone beautifully. We were greeted warmly by the manager and shown to a window table overlooking Hyde Park. Our 18:30 reservation meant the restaurant was still quiet, with only one other table occupied, a perfect start. The menu is broad but not overwhelming. I chose the chicken and coconut soup, chicken stir-fry, and mango sorbet for dessert. Every dish was exceptional, the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The team clearly know what they’re doing and let the food speak for itself. The whole experience reflects the setting, refined, calm, and just the right side of luxurious. Excellent food, excellent staff. I’ll definitely be back, and would highly recommend you book a table too.”

The food was great, the service was friendly and fast (only downside was that the barman had called in sick so there were no cocktails, which we were looking forward to), the atmosphere was nice and the cushioned seats with pillows were so comfy! “Possibly the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten, everything had so much flavour and the food really packs a punch. Highly recommend ordering loads of things to share so that you can try more than one thing. The homemade ice cream was a lovely way to end the meal. Also to say the staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming; they even sang happy birthday to my dad without me asking them to! It’s not cheap but the food is well worth it.”

“Great place, small restaurant we came early as we didn't have a booking, managed to get a table as we arrived at 6pm. You can bring your own booze which ia great they charge a £3 corkage which is fair enough. Food is great I've been here a few times can't complain, definitely come back again.”
