“I am the producer of The Exchange Theatre in Twickenham’s annual pantomime, an in-house production, and for two years now we have worked with Twickenham Youth Theatre (TYT). Each year we have worked with two teams of 6 children across the show week, supported throughout by the TYT Team. I have thoroughly enjoyed the relationship we have built between The Exchange Players and TYT, and have been constantly surprised and delighted at the results the children have achieved under the tutorage, facilitation and enthusiasm of the TYT Leadership Team. Last year, under the supervision of the TYT Facilitators, the TYT children created and named their own characters, and in conjunction with the writer (myself) and the director, also their own dialogue. The results of this were informed and funny, and we are looking forward to repeating this process. We are currently planning a further collaboration with the pantomime again this year, and I cannot now imagine working with another youth group. I am only sorry that, as a youngster, I was not exposed to such a talented, ambitious and positive environment!”

“I had a wonderful experience training with Robyn and the London Meisner Company, having finished now I miss them all so much. I think the benefits of having a group to train with weekly can’t be understated. Robyn is direct and great at what she does, but she doesn’t cross the line into being harsh which I actually experienced at a different place I studied Meisner at, so that was always appreciated. She helped me see there were many more approaches to the work that I hadn’t explored before and I can’t wait to go back to masterclass and keep it all up! My class was also full of amazing people who have become friends, so that is always a plus! Thank you Robyn!”

It’s been great for his coordination and his confidence and the whole team are lovely too. Plus, it’s such a joy to have a 90 minutes to get things done on a Saturday morning :)”
