“Visited the Rose and Crown pub over the weekend while in the area for a wedding. It was the closest place so we took a chance. So glad we did ,the staff were helpful, welcoming and had a great sense of humour ,we were treated like we were old friends .The atmosphere was brilliant the place very comfortable and the food was unbelievable. The attention to detail with each dish was incredible , it was hard to pick a winner so choose what you want it will be delicious. Do yourself a favour when in the area and visit the Rose and Crown you definitely won’t be disappointed. Very highly recommended,thank you to the team for doing such a great job.”

“Amazing reflexology! Leanne is absolutely fantastic at her treatments and has created a calm, beautiful space in her treatment room. She is so friendly and puts you at ease immediately. I'm relatively new to reflexology and have found it so relaxing and interesting to get Leanne's feedback on areas she has worked on. Highly recommend.”

“One of my favourite places to relax and chat with friends and family. Cozy, vintage style with lovely background music. Food is delicious and lovely locally sourced coffee. Homemade cakes make for a scrumptious treat and I can never resist taking some caramel shortbread home. 10/10 will be back.”

“I’ve been coming to Zucchi for years and have recommended the salon to lots of friends and family over that time. Clarise is amazing in the way that she is able to listen and interpret what her clients want. She really cares whether customers are happy and nothing is too much trouble. There is a lovely ambiance in the salon and it’s always a pleasure to spend a few hours in there!”

“Lovely little cafe just off the high street by the bus station. Had delicious liver and grilled tomatoes - don’t eat bacon so they were very happy to replace this with the toms. Chips delicious as were the sausage sandwiches. Super friendly staff. Great value too. Cash only but there are plenty of atms around. Fed up with the same old overpriced coffee chain food? A trip here is perfect”

The food is delicious and the staff are lovely - friendly, smiling and just seem to get the right balance. We would definitely recommend and will be returning. “Exactly what you want for a cute tearoom in the countryside! Hot and cold food, cakes and cream tea. We got the cream tea (£7.50-8/set) and the scones were perfect - came fluffy and warm. Service was friendly and unpretentious. Cosy and clean. Might have to come back and treat myself to a full English next time round...”

Weren't sure what to expect but everything was delicious! Beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Homemade jam was a winner!! Chatted to the owner who has recently taken over.
