“I have had many bred shed burgers and breakfast muffins in my time. What can I say, always banging food. I always visit when I'm in the area. Chicken burgers are definitely my favourite. Onion jam with sausage muffin is all must. Yes, a little pricey but quality for sure. Thanks Ben”

“Dropped by with my kids for lunch and it was a great experience. The service was brilliant and the owner is friendly and welcoming. The food was good. I had the lamb chops and got the chicken nuggets for the kids. Their prices are well suited and the atmosphere is relaxed. Will definitely be back.”

“What a lovely place! The Drawing Room has such a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff are incredibly friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food is great, and they’re very kid-friendly, which makes it perfect for a relaxed family outing. One of my favourite things is their beautiful tea cups—such a charming touch that makes the whole experience feel special. “Ho comprato una casa in Italia : Inverigo (Como, Lombardia). Allora, Il Primo Caffe ed un piacere mangiare qui. E veramente un Caffe Italiano Autentico, buonissimo espresso, tutti quanti mangia bene ogni volta, senza dubio. Amazing super friendly and genuine Italian proprietor. The young Italian “Bossman” and myself talk in Italian and his passion and love for his venue is obvious to see. I bought a Summer home in Inverigo (a province of Comi about 20 miles North of Milan in 2005) and our Family try to go on vacation there every year. Highly recommend Primo Caffe without a doubt it is the BEST COFFEE and serves a beautiful selection of Authentic Italian food, in Orpington. Caveat : it can get SUPER BUSY (which is a good sign of an excellent venue). Ciao”

“Have popped in a couple of times by myself when working from home and wanted a walk/something different for lunch. Always very pleasant staff. Varied menu. Nice decor. Quick service (particularly one time when had forgotten I had an appointment to rush off to). Sometimes have special offers/menus. Not a coffee drinker but tried teas and other offers.”

“Visited for the first time this week for a birthday celebration. Booked a table through Google, easy and convenient. The mezes we had were really good, everyone enjoyed them. Almost all of them came with pitta bread. When it came to mains I had veggie spaghetti and was pretty blant, mostly consisting mashrooms and not very tasty ones, would not recommend. My other half had grill and he enjoyed it. My girls had plain spaghetti and soup of the day- tomato soup. Service was attentive and friendly. Didn't have dessert as cake was waiting at home. Atmosphere was very nice and welcoming.”

“Food was good and the staff friendly (Elise-sorry if I’ve misremembered your name). The place was clean and comfortable with easy parking. There was a small delay with the food being served at that particular time due to a wake being held in another private room but we were kept informed and apologies were offered. Would recommend The Chelsfield Arms.”

“Our last walk of the year on the 30th Dec 2023, resulted in us having a small refreshment stop here. We were warmly welcomed, upon entering this gem of a traditional pub. The menu looked to be a great choice of the usual pub food. I'll note here that there's a large selection of pies. Which included their Festive December Pie. We weren't hungry on this occasion so chose their basket food, which was reasonably priced and arrived quickly. The rest room facilities were clean and tidy, and I'll note the men's was larger than most for this area. A queue for these would be a rare thing I'd say. In summary a cosy atmosphere, and warm unlike many pubs I've visited recently. I am looking forward to another walk in this area, so I can try out the pies of The George and Dragon.”

“It maybe a mini version of a usual H&B store, but, the staff here are so helpful, resourceful having vested interest in the welfare of the customer over just selling anything off the rack. Special thanks to Lesley and Antonina, they have always been nice to my family, given us useful tips, advises and product information. Also on how best we can use our H&B loyalty card and deals to save money. They even sweetly pamper my little one and she loves going to the store for her dose of healthy snacks. As the store is small, I usually order my items online and it quickly gets delivered for pick up from this local store. I have been visiting H&B stores for years, but, when we moved local, I found the service in this store way more personalised, warm and welcoming. Keep up the great work!”
