“Thoroughly recommended. Not large, so worth booking ahead if visiting at a busy time. Wonderfully friendly and caring service and a great brunch menu. My vegetarian wife found the choice a little limited, particularly as avocado had run out We look forward to another visit”

“A very good place where my wife disappears and I walk round looking at stuff. The staff are super lovely. They do classes if you are into crafting etc which is well worth joining There is a lot of stuff here, sewing, crafting, art and if you want to learn any of these there are classes too Very friendly staff Also note if you have a blue light card, hobby craft gives some discount they don’t advertise this as much as you would think but if you are a blue light card holder like my wife use it”

“Absolute little gem in Green Street Green. Had 4 lunches this week and loved every single one. Menu is so different from all the rest of the other cafés. Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. Had a different dessert every day, felt spoilt for choice. The best carrot cake I've ever eaten, and the blondie and the brownie... My partner had not fried, but baked big breakfast and absolutely LoVe it. Noticed owner knew his customers by name, very special for me. And the coffee is indeed the best. We will miss not working in the area and getting fed by Belmondo”

“Came for a quick drink and a little bite to eat.First time we'd been here. Smart place, groovy decor and relaxed atmosphere. Really friendly, welcoming and helpful service. Nice choice of dishes, we just ordered a few different starters. Very tasty but portion sizes were a tad small, especially with the octopus. Very easy drinking house lager. Would love to try the main courses at summer point in the future. Prices very reasonable.”

“The workers are really kind and are really patient. The tables are always clean, and you can always get , whether that's for one person or 5. They have sandwiches, hot drinks, water, and orange juice, so whatever you might want, they have.”

“I’ve been coming to this Costa Coffee for the past three to four months, and I can honestly say it’s been an amazing experience every time. The staff are incredibly friendly, always welcoming with a smile, and the service is consistently excellent. The quality of the drinks and food is top-notch, and the whole place is spotless clean, tidy, and really comfortable. It's clear they take pride in what they do. I’m genuinely impressed and grateful for the warm, positive atmosphere they create. This Costa has become my go-to spot, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee experience.”

“Really friendly and helpful staff; Wonderful delicious food; and even a small shop so you can buy jewellery and such if you fancy it. Only a small venue so obviously huge parties bigger than 20 not suitable, but for anyone with groups smaller than this, it's great! Would recommend!”

“A Hidden Gem with Wonderful Improvements! I’ve been visiting this bakery as of recent, and I have to say, the improvements since the change of staff have been incredible. It’s always been a lovely little spot, but now it truly shines! The selection of cakes and food is fantastic—everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The coffee is brilliant too, with a great range of options to suit everyone’s taste. Whether you fancy a strong espresso or a creamy latte, they get it just right every time. The staff are a real credit to the place—so friendly, polite, and genuinely welcoming. It’s a small, family-run business, and you can tell they put their heart into everything they do. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here. The ingredients are always fresh, and the tables, chairs, and cutlery are spotless. It’s also reassuring to see their hygiene rating proudly displayed at the front of the shop. One of the best things about this bakery is the space. It’s not cramped like some cafés, and there’s even a lovely garden where you can sit outside and enjoy your food in the fresh air. It’s such a peaceful spot to relax, especially on a sunny day. Given the rise in the cost of living, I also really appreciate that the prices here are very reasonable. You get great quality food and drinks without feeling like you’re overspending, which makes it even easier to keep coming back! All in all, I highly recommend this bakery.
