“I thought I would be hard to beat the Wetherspoons lunch deals on a budget but here they have. Cheaper for a meal (with a drink) and the food was quite nice. The pulled pork wrap seemed to be missing a bit of pork but the rest was on par.”

“Came here for a work Christmas meal, and we couldn't have been happier. The food was amazing and they catered superbly to vegan and gluten-free diets. The food was also great value for money, and the extra touches such as sorbet and a welcome drink were really appreciated. “This is a great pub, best in Enfield, friendly and welcoming, they have live music, and a quiz every Tues eve we all have a laugh and banter, cosy inside in the winter, and big outside area at back, the pizza gig serves best pizzas ever, the staff are friendly, Charley and the team work hard putting on all the events for this gem of a pub”

“My favourite Thai restaurant in North London. Great service and incredibly flavoured food. They have separate vegetarian and vegan menus. Be cautious with the vegetarian menu as they still include fish sauce in the currys. I highly recommend the Green or red curry, they have a good spice level and very good portion size.”

My mum and I have visited Crews Hill at Christmas time for the past 10 or so years and have always finished off the day's shopping at the garden centres by having a well deserved dinner at the Plough. Staff were friendly and the food was excellent. My burger (cheese and bacon) was cooked to perfection! Chips were fantastic too. I also had the side of onion nests which I can highly recommend. Will be back again next year!”

We've normally taken a (very well behaved) golden retriever, and that was originally the main draw to the place, but after a good first visit.. and a good second one, it's become a default choice. The servers are been friendly, human, chatty. The food has been pretty consistently great, and the menu is very well put together - there is something for everyone, although an additional vegi option would probably be helpful. The doggy menu is a really nice touch, and it is suitably priced (often these things are over priced - which detracts from the overall intent). Overall would recommend it.
