“Great experience from start to finish: Combi-boiler gave up on Sunday, Monday morning Jim came to have a quick look and advised of options, booked us in for a new boiler on Saturday but due to cancellation got it all sorted on Wednesday already. “I had a very bad leak with water pouring through the ceiling in the early hours of Sunday morning and no electric. I googled 24 hour emergency plumbers. The first two I contacted didn’t answer but it was third time lucky as Arjan answered. He arrived so quickly and turned the water off immediately. He was courteous, kind, understanding and incredibly respectful. After only a few hours of sleep he came back on the Sunday morning (even though he had plans with his family), identified the problem and rectified it accordingly. He was patient and professional and I was very comfortable having him in my home. I am incredibly grateful to Arjan for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone. He made an incredibly stressful situation much easier to deal with. It’s a shame there aren’t more tradesmen like Arjan around! Thank you so very much!”

“10/10 desi breakfast, the chana was perfectly spiced, puri was fluffy - well cooked and not too oily, Spanish latte smooth and delicious, paratha was amazing with alo bhujiya. A perfectly situated desi food spot with an array of options that would fit all your cravings. Comfortable seating, chill vibe and overall would highly recommend. (Toilet facility available also) The owner clearly put his love into this business.”

“This cafe is run by the absolute sweetest staff, the coffee is good and there are always dairy alternatives available; the eggs royale are fantastic and the vibes are always nice inside. It only took a couple of visits for them to remember my drink order and make me feel like a regular already. There’s an upstairs that is quite nice and quiet and there are a few tables outside which is perfect for a sunny day. I would definitely recommend!”

“Trendy coffee shop in London, the place to stop and get coffee, so lovely lovely staff, tasty coffee, nice places to sit but also if you walk up the road there’s huge area near a padel court you can be nosy and or just chill by a few lovely picnic benches perfect for everyone really. Nice place to watch the world go by just up the road from the cemetery which is a must do walk. Staff kind, all the croissants and cakes and biscuits taste good and the things they sell in the shop like niche chocolate, cards and sauces and key chains and cups are always lovely. We bought a bag of their chocolate coffee for home and went to get more and sold out even though £12 would buy again. Lovely staff always friendly especially to dogs have a little water bowl and treats and my little 3 year old loves going there. Really nice atmosphere and pretty year round. Top place”

“Gorgeous interior. Filled with warmth and smiling staff. Food is delicious. I could eat 10 sandwiches just to keep enjoying the blends of flavours. Soup of the day is always exciting. Herbs you have never heard of, foods chosen that compliment each other perfectly. When you order, you have to trust that you really are going to enjoy the food. The ingredients sometimes sound mismatched, but I haven't had anything to complain about yet. They know what they are doing! Very good hot chocolate. Not sickly sweet or too milky, just wish mug was bigger...but it's good for my waistline! Lots of comfortable furniture- like the Central Perk cafe in Friends. Lovely experience every time.”

“Visited for the Japanese cheesecake initially and to introduce a friend to this place as they are more local than me. Loved the selection of hot/cold drinks. Sat in even shared a table with other visitors which I thought was so nice and brought back the good times where people actually converse! Carrot cake was divine it was moist and tasty. Was there so long sat to near closing time! The basement has a really nice ambience to it aswell I'd come back again.”

“Really wanted to try out a different cafe instead of our usual one. So glad we did! I ordered on deliveroo Chicken Escalope sandwich and was hoping for the best! In the photo it only shows one half of the sandwich. So glad I did as it was fresh and delicious!! Will be ordering from Crossroads again for sure. My husband ordered a Sausage roll with 3 hash browns which he enjoyed. Cravings satisfied.”

“This place is under new management and is truly changed for the better, the new rotund boss has made some brilliant changes. Tom who resembles the jolly round butcher we all grew up with, has rebranded as a ‘Tea and sausage sandwich emporium’. You can come and enjoy your pot of lapsang suchong and bacon sarnie until late afternoon. The colourful range of local clientele also makes each visit similar to a visit to the zoo! Well worth a visit! Honestly the only coffee shop in town that is worth frequenting!”

“I have been going here since I worked in the area and the food and cafe are some of the best I have ever had. You can get everything here. Breakfast is the best. They do pretty much anything you want. It is clean, the staff are the best people and they work so hard to provide the best customer service. I would seriously suggest that if you work in the area you should give these guys a call even if you can’t sit down. Just order for collection. They are quick and their food is so good.
