“I couldn't fault the service I received from Petstay at all. Jason was so friendly and found me the perfect pet sitter for my dog Pixie. I was initially extremely nervous as the only sitter available for my dates away was a lady with 2 dogs of her own. My dog is an only dog and is unashamedly a bit of a 'princess', so I wasn't sure how she'd cope. I have left her in kennels previously, and she didn't settle at all and lost a lot of weight, so I was uncomfortable leaving her again for 2 weeks, whilst we were away in America. I met with Dianne and her 2 dogs, when Pixie and I went for an initial home visit. Dianne is such a natural 'dog' person and is clearly very experienced at owning dogs and she made me feel so at ease and asked all the right questions about Pixie and wanted to find out as much as she could about her, to make her stay go well. We even agreed to go on a couple of walks together before Pixies stay, so I could see where Pixie would be walked and so the dogs could get use to each other beforehand. I was really nervous about leaving Pixie and thought it would spoil my holiday, to constantly be worrying about her but Dianne and I had agreed that we would keep in touch throughout the holiday with little updates and photos now and again, this meant I could really enjoy my holiday and Pixie could enjoy her time away too. After picking Pixie up she has settled back into life at home again and I would have absolutely no hesitation using Dianne again and would recommend using Petstay to anyone (and have already recommended them to my veterinary practice).”

“Gemma was our lovely receptionist & bar maid. Friendly & welcoming with a lovely smile to go with her great hospitality. All 7 of us had a great stay. Rooms are extremely clean, breakfast was amazing and enjoyed by all. Thank you !!”

“Stayed for a night for a conference in Manchester but didn't want the hustle and bustle.of Manchester city centre. We were greeted by a great guy named Ste in reception who was so welcoming and made us laugh. We ate in the bar and had a couple of drinks, nothing was too much for Ste, he even popped into the kitchen to find me some orange slices for my Blue Moon beer! Fantastic service. Would stay again. More hotels need a Ste too!”

“The best place for your fur babies ever, cath looks after them like they are her own ( she has a few of them also) our boy loves it there, and if you want to get in, you have to book really early as she's always full. Five star treatment all the way.”

“I phoned to ask if they had any kittens, they were kind enough to keep my number and let me know. The lady who helped us was patient, showed us how to care for them and even wsited behind after their opening times so I could go buy some carry cases. “Our Maine Coon kitten (Tony) stayed at Riverside last summer. We collected a very happy, healthy kitten who had grown immensely in just one week, to the extent whereby his cat carrier broke under the pressure of his growth, but the staff very kindly gave us one of their own to transport him safely home. “Poynton Pups has been incredible at teaching our very loved puppy to socialise with confidence and enjoy the company of other dogs. Lockdown had meant that she was unsure of other dogs and people when we were out for walks. She is now a completely different puppy and we have seen her confidence grow hugely since being out with Poynton Pups and she comes very happy after her weekly walk with the pack.”

“Bonnie stayed with Gemma for daycare for 6 months and occasional overnight boarding. I couldn't have asked for better care. Bonnie was treated to long walks and lots of cuddles. Gemma sends lots of photos to keep me updated. I felt Bonnie was more spoilt with Gemma than at home!!”

“We have had the pleasure of knowing Melanie for the past 3.5years! She has looked after and cared for our golden retriever Alfred since he was six months old every time we go on holiday. I feel privileged to have found Care2Pets dog walking and home boarding as I know our furry member of the family will always be safe and loved while he's on his holidays with Melanie! I can't recommend this company enough as they are so wonderful! Alfred loves staying here and playing with Melanies own dogs! “Wasn't expecting much following the reviews on here, but make a judgement for yourself as I found the staff and the hotel to be pleasant- some of the guests less so! I stayed for work over a period of a few days, and it's clear that its the same staff every day from reception open till close. Im unsure if they are also the owners but it gives a very 'family run' style feel that is comforting. After my first night, I was asked how I was coping with the warm weather and to be sure to ask if I needed anything. I was also periodically asked how the room was, and felt extremely safe as a female travelling solo. The hotel is on a main road, but is neighbouring a nice residential area and a church, which gives it a peaceful feel. The amenities in the room are fantastic, the fridge and microwave honestly looked brand new. I'll be honest in that I brought antibacterial wipes to clean the sides following some reviews, but the wipes were as clean as they were fresh out of the packet after wiping down all the surfaces. While the room itself is a tad dated, it has more character than your standard travelodge! Honestly a great hotel with pleasant staff. Can't fault it and honestly wish I was working in the area again to return!”
