We come from Batley regularly, which is 40 minutes away, like many of our other compadres. The food is spicy, so don’t complain that you can’t taste anything else but spice. If you ever go past I would really recommend that you try this place modern spacious restaurant. we tried the Fish Masala for the first time and I actually really enjoyed it. we Also got a Lamb Tawa it was really nice. “My new favourite Sunday Lunch in town. First time had beef, then tried chicken and got hooked. Had chicken 3-4 times now and each time it was succulent and cooked to perfection. Gravy is sooo delicious too. To top it off, Velvet has the best wines in the Village and a great outdoor sitting area along the canal.”

“Florence Italian Cafe, unit 15 Ashton Indoor Market is very small but often full, and the reason is not hard to find. The staff are friendly, the service excellent, and the prices very competitive. £2.00 for a Nescafé coffee and £2.60 for ham and cheese toasties for example. They don’t do main meals, but well worth a visit for a drink or snack.”

And I ordered a Naga chicken curry with a couple of chapattis . It was just what I needed on a cold night like this beautiful flavours but with a good kick to it.
