“What a fantastic little roastery. I picked up a flat white and a bag of beans from them at Bolton food festival and I honestly can't stop ordering their coffee since. They've got a great range of coffee in their online shop that have become a staple at home, and are great for a wide range of brewing methods. I can't wait to try their cafe next! It's also very reasonably priced. No real negatives to report: a couple of minor things could have been better on our food (e.g. toasting/warming the bagel before adding the ingredients), but they're very minor. We will definitely come back and I'll get a bacon sandwich on the way to work soon.”

“If you're looking for a delightful little coffee shop with a fantastic atmosphere, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere, look no further, The North Coffee Shop is owned by John who has many years of experience and makes mouth watering food, he is incredibly friendly and has created a wonderful warm and inviting atmosphere, there is something for everyone and all made with love by John himself. He runs Greek nights also and the dishes are fantastic, with loads of variety. I would highly recommend anyone to drop in and sample some of John's tasty treats, you won't be disappointed xx”

It’s meeting Saskia, Harvey, Toby and Chris that makes me want to go daily. They make a great team - everyone is made to feel welcome and special. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. “Perfect little coffee stop for lunch & a quick caffeine hit! In the outskirts of the city for the day, I only had a short hour to find somewhere to eat & drink - Capuchin was the perfect little location! I initially walked past the door the first time, looking inside but being informed to go someplace else (close-by) which was supposedly the place to go... It was meant to be though because this location was being re-furbished & therefore, I came back here & was glad I did. The food was delicious & the coffee even better! I was served quickly with a friendly smile & the food didn't take too long to come out either. I can't remember how much it all came to but it wasn't a bad price & something totally expected for a good quality brunch & coffee. Would return & recommend a lot in what seems to be a competitive little corner (street). Well done guys!”

“I’ve only been here twice, but it’s already becoming my favourite coffee shop. As someone who knows a fair bit about coffee quality, I can say their coffee is consistently fresh, well roasted, and clearly high quality. I’ve tried both the espresso and the cortado - the espresso was excellent, and the cortado had beautifully textured milk and was really well balanced. The customer service is honestly the best I’ve experienced in Manchester. Today, the tall guy behind the counter was genuinely interested in how my day was before even taking my order, which felt refreshing and sincere rather than scripted. Little things like that make a big difference. I’ll definitely keep coming back.”
