“Hi, been in this shop several times both as a customer and as a courier / delivery driver. The people that own and run this business are a credit to their profession. Always willing to help with deliveries even offering cold drinks through the hot weather ! To top all this off, last week I visited the shop to get a watch fixed only for the guy to do it instantly there and then. I was so impressed and asked him the cost of the repair to which he replied don’t worry about it it only took me a short time so it’s ok I won’t charge. Wow just wow ! “Lovely, small hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pub too, Excellent breakfast. We stayed one night for the standedge tunnel canoe trip. Stayed here on Friday night and then the owner gave us a lift to marsden on sat morning to join the canoe trip. Diggle end of the tunnel is 200m from the hotel. Recommended.”
