“If you're looking for a delightful little coffee shop with a fantastic atmosphere, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere, look no further, The North Coffee Shop is owned by John who has many years of experience and makes mouth watering food, he is incredibly friendly and has created a wonderful warm and inviting atmosphere, there is something for everyone and all made with love by John himself. He runs Greek nights also and the dishes are fantastic, with loads of variety. I would highly recommend anyone to drop in and sample some of John's tasty treats, you won't be disappointed xx”

Quality is very good compared to some others I have tried, strawberry green tea was super tasty with the strawberry boba. Very reasonably priced, I would 100% recommend this place, if you haven’t tried you are missing out!”

“Another wonderful stay at the beautiful Rushop Hall this Easter holidays. We'd previously stayed here twice before in the bedrooms above the dining area of which both rooms were relaxing, comfortable and beautifully decorated. This time we'd decided to try the Pepper Pot, and we were blown away with the high standard. Particularly the attention to detail of this little cottage and the sheer comfort it provided us for our two night stay. Jan & Neil are amazing hosts, and provide you with exceptional customer service. Which has the right balance of being very welcoming but allowing you, your personal space-Really love this about them. Nothing is never too much trouble, so please ask them! Breakfast is delicious and beautifully cooked. Loved the additional fresh fruit & yogurt etc. Location is perfect, remote and relaxing with stunning views. Perfect surroundings for a wonderful nights sleep and of course beautiful views to wake up to in the morning. Thank you for making our stay just as delightful as it was 7 years ago. “Went here for my sister’s 30th for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the gravy was so shiny and delicious and there was loads of it! A true northern restaurant. My grandpa also has dementia and we requested that the food was served quickly. They were very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and try the small plates.”

“Super Smash makes amazing burgers! We tried the Pachos Smash Up, Juicy Lois, and the Original Crispy Chicken Burger. The Pachos Smash Up was our favourite, crispy chicken and juicy beef in one burger! Everything here is fresh because they grind their own meat and mix it themselves. You can really taste the difference. We’ll definitely be back!”

It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. “Not sure where the people giving bad reviews were but this lovely place is a little hidden gem. Been several times and brought other family and friends. Lovely friendly staff, food is tasty and plentiful (and yes we have tried several different things from the menu). Super fast service and our drinks have always been served just before the food. Perfect :) The garden seating is really tranquil and relaxing. We recommend this to anyone, you won't be disappointed!”
