“I popped into Sykes for the first time today and had a lovely breakfast with butchers sausages and bacon, perfectly cooked eggs and all the trimmings. The coffee was delish! The welcome was genuine and service friendly, as always from Mancunians. A great place to grab a quality bite to eat, recommended.”

“Just passing by... Very well presented. Immaculately clean, food is fast, fresh and tasty. Try the Beehive masala omelette (£8.45), certainly hits the spot. The chicken wings (£5.45) are grilled and not fried and are flavoursome and cooked to perfection. We'll certainly be back! Good luck do support as it's a new start up.”

“We went for brunch and both had the bacon on sourdough ciabatta with black pudding and one with a fried egg. They were much larger than expected (no complaint there!), perfectly cooked and delicious. Allergens were checked for on ordering. The staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. Loved the style and atmosphere, looking forward to going again. Oh and the coffee was fab!”

“Absolutely hidden gem cafe in Stockport with good price. All the food source from the best in local farms. My son Luke loves the sausages so much and so am I. The other favorite is the mushroom soup, fresh made and creamy. If you want some dessert, I would highly recommend the Victoria sponge and fresh made pancake.”

“Good for coeliacs. We have been here twice now to get my son some dinner and they was able to provide us a kids dinner, butty, crisp, and home made cake/brownie with a drink. Good when we only live round the corner and can find something convenient for him. They really have thought about alot off people this cafe, people that are not able to talk or write are able to place pictures onto the menu to show what they want. Good community cafe.”

“We had a fantastic time at The Bake House! After finding out our originally planned venue for afternoon tea was closed we called the Bake House and they accommodated us at the last minute! We were too late to order afternoon tea but they did their best to give us the experience by plating up our sandwiches into a platter and putting our chosen cakes on a cake stand. Delicious baked good, teas coffees and scrumptious milkshakes for the kids. 100% recommend!”

“Everything at Puss in Boots is always amazing. The food is consistently delicious, the staff are incredibly friendly, and both the team and management regularly check in to make sure you’re looked after. Every visit feels like a big family reunion — the atmosphere is always welcoming and full of good energy. Whether we pop in during a walk just for a drink, or bring family and friends who are visiting, it’s always our special go-to place. Everyone we take there ends up loving the experience and the food just as much as we do. The staff always take great care of us, and the manager often stops by our table with something new we have to try. I would highly recommend Puss in Boots to anyone in the Stockport area. The atmosphere truly makes you feel at home, and whoever you take there will leave with positive energy and appreciation for the warm interior and amazing service.”

“Fabulous Hen Party for my daughter at Rocksalt on Saturday night. The buffet was gorgeous and we were all looked after brilliantly! Thank you to all the staff for making it so special especially Steve, Shaun and Shelley. Great DJ too and the tables were pushed aside for dancing for us. A great venue with professional staff, thank you so much!”

“I recently purchased a quartz table from All In Stone and the whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. I live approximately 200 miles from their shop, however communication over the phone and messaging was faultless. On collection of the table, it was wrapped for protection and loaded into my van, nothing was too much trouble and the lads were all friendly. They have some lovely tables and tons of choice in the shop. I would jot hesitate to purchase from All In Stone again.”

“Nice space, very generous helpings and a sugar rush that will smack you in the face with awesome. The staff are friendly and there's even a place where you can get some water for free because the sugar is getting a bit too much. Definitely a place for dessert loving folk - there's a lot of choice and everything looked awesome. My photo is of a cookie dough dessert.”

“Was completely refurbishment during September 2023 and reopened with the usual excellent staff and excellent food (which is why I have left the following 5 star review unchanged). Unfortunately, the refurbishment means we will not be using the café as often as we have done in the past, because they no longer take cash. The counter has been replaced by order screens similar to the screens in MacDonalds and some M&S cafe's, and younger people will love them. Unfortunately, unlike the similar machines at MacDonalds and some M&S cafe's (which take cash as well as card) the new payment screens here only accept card payments. The café looks fine, and the food is as good as ever, but the payment system makes it feel very impersonal and there is less opportunity for banter with the friendly staff. Also, some of the older customers who usually pay by cash will now feel excluded. Personally, I prefer a choice, sometimes paying cash, sometimes by card. Latest image shows the café, and the back of the payment screens on left hand side. The original review was as follows: Food is excellent, as are the staff. Friendly, efficient, and professional. Breakfast is always hot, well cooked, and well presented.”

Although my lead time was very short, he and his team accommodated all my requests for personalisation and followed up to advise when the hamper was dispatched and delivered. My client was absolutely delighted with the Eid gift and I will happily recommend Gourmet Luxe to clients and friends who are looking for bespoke and luxurious corporate gifting.”

“This is the coolest and most chilled spot in Stockport. You can kick back with a naughty coffee or hit-and-run with a power smoothie. The cake is fresh and delicious also. It’s the perfect meeting spot and a good place to crack on with some remote working. In regards to the tattooing, Jordan’s attention to detail when designing and stabbing tattoos is amazing. I’m a repeat customer and will be returning to Jordan again soon. He is friendly and approachable; his communication before the work, and the aftercare he provides is reassuring. He takes into consideration what the client wants and works hard to put the vision into a design. His needle-work is intricate and, in my experience, flawless. Jay is lovely too, and his work is brilliant. I am excited to see what Inner Vision Collective becomes and wish the lads all the best with the project.”

“✨Amazing Indian Vegetarian / Vegan Cafe✨ We visited for the first time today as my partner is obsessed with Chai at the moment. For drinks I had the biscoff coffee shake which was sensational, the coffee wasn’t too overpowering and the roast / blend choice was delicious. My partner had the home brewed Masala Chai which he thoroughly enjoyed, and the pot of tea he received was massive! (We stayed a bit longer just so he could finish it as it was that good) For mains we had the Indian breakfast muffin (vegan sausage, Indian spiced hash browns, and a bbq tamarind chutney) and the Chai Buckwheat pancakes which came with syrup and berries. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich, the chutney was amazing and really pulled everything together. Though I didn’t try the pancakes they were gone within minutes. Both me and my partner agreed portion sizes were bob on, we felt full without feeling overly lethargic. Though we didn’t have the opportunity to try them the cakes and Indian deli looked delicious. Our entire meal with drinks cost under £20 which I think is ridiculously reasonably priced considering the quality and portion sizes of the food and drink. (Not to mention the very quick service!) It is also worth noting they seemed to have an extensive ice cream range. All staff were super friendly, the woman serving us really seemed to care about our experience there and we were given customer service you can’t simply buy without there being a true passion for what she was serving. I would highly recommend dining here, and we look forward to visiting again.”
