“WOW! What a nice place with exquisite cuisine! First of all, the staff are so friendly and always accommodate my children by letting them make their own pizzas which is beyond lovely! And the pizza? Delicious EVERY time! Try the 4 salami - it is top notch. Meatballs are lush. Pasta also. Simply FAB.”

“A small restaurant, with an outside area at the front. We had a main course only, the menu while not large was interesting and the tasty food came hot to the table. We had the house wine which was good an enjoyable evening. Would return there again.”

“Salsa de Cuba! Fantastico! The ONLY authentic, Havana university trained dance teachers in Manchester. I have done all of their dance courses except one in the last 5 years. Juan & Susan have also given me the amazing opportunity to participate in many dance performances of which I am eternally honoured to have done. I also went on one of their Cuba holidays which was one of the best experiences ever! Not many dancers can say that they’ve even danced with their dance teachers beautiful family in their kitchen, in the heart of Havana with a live band.....you’ll never experience that on any other Cuba package holiday! Team super attentive checking in, extra drinks, cleaning the table. Building and decor stunning- you really couldn't have done anything better - was the son's 18th Birthday and we were so happy with the quality of food and service you made it really special (no one knew it was his Bday he doesn't like a fuss) but just wow thank you will be back soon- this was our first visit.”

“What a bloody amazing pub! The last and final remaining public house I've visited in Poynton and I'm absolutely ashamed of myself that it wasn't the first pub I'd ever visited! I've driven past well over a thousand times in the last ten years after the traffic chaos on the mad mile and I've never popped in. More fool me than you I promise! Now... I've never felt so guilty I've never popped in. If you want airs and graces, go elsewhere. This is a no-nonsense pub with a down to earth owner with plainspoken patrons. The locals here are as welcoming as the owners. Considering it was my debut visit and they hadn't a clue who I was they treated me like family but I was just some randomer who came in with a little Jack Russel! I walked in here with my dog and she was instantly welcomed. No other pub in the village except Cask has ever extended the same virtue, we've always been asked to leave or sit outside! I'm really sorry not to remember the landlady's name but she was so nice to our group. I did promise her a revisit so I hope to update the review in due course. Thanks for having us x”
