“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. You can immediately tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about both the quality of the coffee and the experience of everyone who walks in. Oli in particular has this effortless way of making the space feel welcoming, friendly, and his attentiveness is very wholesome. He remembers people’s preferences, checks in with guests thoughtfully, and the whole atmosphere runs smoothly under his watch. The drinks are consistently excellent, the service is efficient but personal, and there’s a calm, professional energy even during an influx. If you’re looking for a spot where you’re treated like a valued regular rather than just another customer, this is 100% it. Highly recommended!”

“Perfect little coffee stop for lunch & a quick caffeine hit! In the outskirts of the city for the day, I only had a short hour to find somewhere to eat & drink - Capuchin was the perfect little location! I initially walked past the door the first time, looking inside but being informed to go someplace else (close-by) which was supposedly the place to go... It was meant to be though because this location was being re-furbished & therefore, I came back here & was glad I did. The food was delicious & the coffee even better! I was served quickly with a friendly smile & the food didn't take too long to come out either. I can't remember how much it all came to but it wasn't a bad price & something totally expected for a good quality brunch & coffee. Would return & recommend a lot in what seems to be a competitive little corner (street). Well done guys!”

“I popped into Coffee Block for a quick brew and a teacake, and it absolutely made my morning. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and cheerful — she greeted every person who walked in with a big smile and genuine warmth. It was lovely to see how she chatted with the regulars, taking the time to ask about their day. The atmosphere felt so positive and welcoming, and the coffee was spot on. A lovely place all round, and I’ll definitely be returning soon!”

“Really tasty breakfast, cooked well and prepared very quickly. It’s a small cafe, so space is a bit limited. But then in a way that’s nice, nothing worse than a huge noisy place. Big car park at the back too, which is handy. Great cafe!”

“Every time I come I'm met with a hello from the staff and seated as quickly as possible. It's not a huge place, so as expected from somewhere in demand due to the quality, you have to wait sometimes for a table. Always worth the wait though!! If it's super busy, so the fire exit isn't blocked, you may have to wait outside for health and safety reasons, no biggie but come prepared if the weather is questionable. Great coffee from a local roastery in Bolton and a great menu that isn't overbearing. The chorizo hash is a must have, I get this every time! If you can finish the pancakes... fair play to you! They're awesome but HUGE! Get a doggy bag! Bring all my friends and family here when they visit and they always love it. A great spot with quality that you'd expect to find in the city and coffee to rival the best independent coffee shops.”
