“Fantastic Bar with amazing people running it, and such a friendly crowd inside all round great atmosphere. Superb drink choice, with beers (north/ South my favourite) and cocktails a plenty (Gin Bramble my wifes favourite). They really go all out to look after you and your dogs too. My pug loves going, I have a pint she has some biscuits!”

“Had a lovely meal, the chef even offered to make something not in the current menu, after there wasn’t a great deal of choice for a vegan diner. “We used this venue as a campervan stopover. Which was mostly OK. When we arrived to pitch up the parking area was pretty well at capacity due to a Bowls match, tis cleared after about 2 hours or so and we were able to pitch up. As this was free we decided to meet with my sister and partner and my son. The 5 of us had a pleasant meal in the pub which we enjoyed. I would suggest that the proprietors consider putting an outside drinking water tap and marked bins for waste recycling. I have no doubt that we shall be visiting again.”

“Flic decided to have a day out in Marple. We started at this lovely Robinson's pub next to Rose Hill station. I am pretty sure I have been here a few times many years ago. Large open plan and plush interior with TV's and an outside terrace, also with a TV. Stairs down to a small beer garden beside a large car park. Three of four handpumps in use on my visit. Went for a seasonal Pale Ale, AMO 4.4%. Really refreshing.”
