“This is one of the best pubs in the area. I have been going here on and off since way before it was renovated last time and Julie and her team work hard to make this a fun and welcoming place to go. There is no food but the cost of a pint is reasonable, has live music every weekend, has a small enclosed outdoor area and you are not constantly looking over your shoulder. How often do you hear the words “We have had to shut the front door as we are full” in pubs any more! Keep up the good work Julie.”

“Went to see a panto Aladdin here recently. Parking was really easy and was free for a limited time NOTE (you still need to obtain a ticket from the machine though and display in windscreen). The pantomime was great, the layout in the hall was fabulous, viewing was great, stage layout/set up was fab. The staff in there were all so helpful too!”

“My son has attended Bolton School from the age of 5 and has just finished his A levels. He has lots of opportunities throughout his school life . Although his main extra curricular activities have revolved around sport where he has represented the school at football, cricket, water polo and hockey he has also been stretched into the arts having the opportunity to act, and play the trumpet in concerts. Discipline is strong in the school but I have found it fair. Academically he has progressed and has turned into a well rounded individual. Thank you Bolton School.”

“I wish I could rate this college more than 5 stars as it certainly deserves it. When I first started there, I was shy and insecure regarding my abilities, but with the support of the amazing teachers and the excellent facilities, I saw myself transform into a confident and educated individual. I completed my two years of studies there and I wish I could go back, the experience was more than satisfactory. “Been coming here for a couple of years now. It’s a great setup and has absolutely everything you need with regards to health and well being. That said, what really makes this place shine isn’t the facilities, it’s the great bunch of staff who run the place!! They work tirelessly to pull it all together whether it being front of house to help with my random queries or just to say a pleasant hello or goodbye in passing, the PTs who run RIG; Robert, Jack, Joe, Ben (sorry if I missed anyone else out), and the various other sessions from spin to boxercise. My daughter all attends swimming lessons here too… special thanks to Dan for being a great teacher and so good (and patient!) with Charlotte in her growth and development. Thanks to Scott for always being so accommodating with our families busy timetable and helping us find suitable dates and times. Keep up the good work guys, a very well done to you all!”
