“Ordered 2 kebabs at 18.10. Didn’t come until 19.45 but didn’t realise how bad the weather was until I opened the door. Felt for the driver. Good size portions, donner was lovely. Chicken was a little dry and would prefer salad and sauce to be put on kebab rather than have to do it ourselves but small things. Used Naga a lot and tonight hasn’t put me off.”

“So this was the first time us leaving our cat in a Cattery due to him being diabetic and he needed extra care. Lisa made us feel so at ease and seeing reviews she had cared for other diabetic cats was a relief. We were delayed by 27hrs on our return and nothing was too much to help or bother for the extra night needed. Highly recommend. Love me, Dan and Bentley :)”

“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

“I had to write this review straight away, as it was such a pleasure to visit a pub where we were met so warmly, the cask beer range produced in house is excellent ( Tried two & both very drinkable & very reasonably priced ) It was just a shame I had a train to catch otherwise I would have stayed! I will definitely be back & can only recommend! (Trains roughly every half hour from Manchester lovely small beer garden which is a sun trap!”

“We had gone for a beautiful walk in this village and came across this beautiful restaurant. Unknowingly we went there without booking a table but the hospitality was amazing. The food was top notch with amazing presentation. Loved the food especially the lamb chops and jerk chicken. Recommend this place.”

“Called in for breakfast, 1st time, was more than happy. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Food and drink a Big 10/10 food was freshly cooked and piping hot. They even avoided one of my all time pet hates, cutting the toast corner to corner(it drives me insane lol) if you haven't been and are in the area definitely call in. “The aesthetic in this place is phenomenal. I love the Bangladeshi touch to everything. You can tell they have put in a lot of effort and it does not disappoint. “Saturday 17th May 2025 This pub in Hyde necmxt to the train station is not just a historical gem with a proper Clientelle, and the person behind was polite and helpful Good banter was had in the fantastic pub it was good fun. There were 4 fantastic not big brewet ales on tonight with good rock background music next door to the Hyde central station This pub, when drinking real ales in Hyde, is an essential visit”

“We’ve Just had a pizza delivery from Romero’s in Hyde. 12” and a 9” thin crust, with garlic base cheese tomato, pepperoni, onions and peppers. It was gorgeous! Price was great just £15:00 total, delivered in 25 minutes. Happy days! Will definitely order again.”
