We spent 5 nights at Hurawalhi Island Resort in the Maldives, 5 nights at the Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok, and 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak, Phuket. Each centre was exactly what we needed in terms of quality, location, and value. Sam understood what we wanted from the trip, starting with something extra special in the Maldives in an overwater villa, moving into the bustle of Bangkok with comfort and convenience, and finishing with a relaxing beachfront stay in Thailand. He balanced price and quality well, and nothing felt over the top or under-delivered. The Trailfinders app was also a real bonus. It had everything in one place,flight details, transfers, hotel information, but also extras and handy notes. It was much easier than juggling bits of paper or trying to find email attachments on the go. What impressed me most was the smoothness of all the connections between centres with transfers from airports to hotels, the seaplane to Hurawalhi, and even the shuttle in Phuket were all seamless. Trailfinders clearly work with good in-country partners, and that makes a difference when you’re in unfamiliar places. Everything just clicked into place, and that took a lot of stress out of travelling. I’ve used Trailfinders before for multicentre stopovers, and they didn’t disappoint then, nor did they this time. “The room was very clean and comfortable, basic amenities, bed very comfy. The house keeping was very good. The location for MRI hospital could not have been better. 10 minutes walk away. Local amenities good, petrol station, tesco, subway etc. Parking at the back of the travel lodge at a very reasonable price.”

“Sept 2025 Nailed it again, popped in to see if the team could suggest a short break in the sun and they came up with Bulgaria, yes I know... Hotel Helena Sands was great a bit quirky but we really liked it, pool was great but cold, then again it was September, mind you we had a lovely heated pool in the Wellness Centre. Outdoor spaces were lovely, room was great we had a pool and sea view with balcony, lovely. Sunny Beach itself was a bit of a mixed bag. long walk all the way down the beachfront Strip to Flower street or you could take the mini train, if you can get one to stop for you! Bus was 2 Lev about £1. Shops and bars all the way. Flower Street was madness at night great for the youngsters. Has a lovely day in Nessebar Old Town, cobbled streets, history, nice shops, better places to eat. Food and drink was very reasonable. Went to Khan's Tent on our last night, dinner, cabaret show and circus entertainers with great views down to Sunny Beach. All in all we had a great time, weather was near perfect. Things were just starting to close down as we left so anytime after September I think it will be a ghost town. Thanks team”
