“Came here after reading reviews. We ordered wonton/ dumpling soup, Beef ho fun, salt and pepper tofu and mixed vegetables. The dumplings and wonton are huge in a well flavoured broth. The beef ho fun was nice. Loved the salt and pepper tofu. It was very light and crunchy. The ladies working there are very friendly and nice. A lot of Asians come here so you can tell it’s good food. Very extensive menu for a small eatery I would book at busier times. We came late afternoon. Next time will come earlier as they had already run out of roast duck and char Siu”

“We went for Smugs one man show which was absolutely brilliant, it is a small theatre and worked well to give a really intimate feel. A lot going on behind the scenes to provide such a great show, for me it was everything the theatre should be, special mention for front of house staff who were lovely. Wish them ATB for the future.”

“Brilliant theatre. The oldest little theatre in the UK. Excellent regular variety of shows very well acted. Good bar area. The seating is comfortable and tiered so that all seats give a good view. Parking available next door with a lovely helpful chap who deserves a mention. Some notable present and past honorary members such as Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Sybil Thorndike and locally born Dame Wendy Hillier.”

“The inside is very modern, clean and welcoming. They have a drinks bar with tea and coffee as well. The seats are very comfortable. Just been to see Murder by Misadventure which was brilliant! I will recommend to all my friends to help support such a wonderful local theatre.”

“We saw Neil Simon’s play “The Odd Couple” last night at Wigan Little Theatre. It was an excellent production, really funny, well acted, costumes and sets were superb. Theatre itself was a lovely old place, comfy and clean, great bar area and place for teas coffees etc in the interval. This is a gem of a place, run and maintained entirely by volunteers. A local treasure belonging to Wigan ❤️. Can’t wait for our next visit.”

“An Absolutely Amazing Turkish Dining Experience! Every visit to this restaurant has been nothing short of perfect! The food is always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, truly authentic Turkish cuisine done to perfection. The cocktails are just as impressive each one goes down an absolute treat and perfectly complements the meal. As someone with celiac disease, finding a restaurant that can cater safely and confidently to my dietary needs is rare, but the team here went above and beyond. They were knowledgeable, careful, and made me feel completely at ease. I left with a full and very happy tummy, which says it all! The service is consistently 10 out of 10 warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The fact that the restaurant is also kid-friendly made our experience even better, allowing the whole family to relax and enjoy together. “Fantastic theatre we visited for the last night of the summer panto Sleeping Beauty the cast were amazing and really comical, our 2 sons were in hysterics they couldn't stop laughing, we took our own snacks and drinks in as we were on a budget with our holiday being a week later, we would definitely visit again.”

“A very pleasant evening spent here. Most of this theatre is very old but kept quite fresh with the cleanliness. I didn't come across any mustiness that the old cinema had (that was) down the road. Staff were as nice and friendly. A few sound difficulties, but the actors were able to broadcast their voices around.”

“Came to Manchester to see the Beths. When that was cancelled at short notice I met up with a mate and his wife to see their daughter in the band "Brand New Legs" at Night People. Lovely, smart venue with a great vibe. Bar well positioned on one side and a handy step up down the left hand side for the vertically challenged! Reminded me of the sugar mill in Hanley minus the sticky floor!”

“Went to see a panto Aladdin here recently. Parking was really easy and was free for a limited time NOTE (you still need to obtain a ticket from the machine though and display in windscreen). The pantomime was great, the layout in the hall was fabulous, viewing was great, stage layout/set up was fab. The staff in there were all so helpful too!”

“I had a great night here last week. Everyone was really friendly from the staff to the other customers. The drinks were reasonably priced and the music was great. There was a really nice, community atmosphere you only really find in rock clubs. The venue itself is pretty unique. Even the bouncer who chucked me out was an absolute gentleman (my fault he'd warned me an hour prior moshing isn't allowed). Assuming I'm not barred, I'd absolutely go back. 10/10”
