It's literally a pleasant 5-minute stroll from there, and you'll work up just enough appetite for what's coming. Our waiter was an absolute legend - had us laughing while being completely on the ball with service. You know when someone's genuinely enjoying their job? That was this guy. Went for the tonno pizza (because who doesn't love a good tuna pizza?) paired with an alcohol-free Peroni - surprisingly decent! Couldn't resist the tiramisu to finish, and honestly, no regrets there whatsoever. The place itself is lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean, and the whole team clearly knows what they're doing. It's got that perfect chilled vibe where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over the noise. Perfect spot for a relaxed lunch - we'll definitely be making this a regular haunt! “I used to live in Manchester and somehow never tried this place before! We were visiting for work and decided to stop by Tampopo for lunch – and yes, it was the right choice. The food was banging, full of flavour, and fairly priced. The ramen was especially great, and the kids’ menu was a hit – massively approved by the little ones, which is always key! Great service too. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.”

“Intimate little restaurant serving fabulous food, all cooked on order by owner and Chef, Mandy. The paella is the best I have ever tasted but don't forget to check the specials board as well. When everything is so good it's ideal that it's tapas, perfect for sharing with family and friends. Menu prices are very reasonable and as it's BYOB, you save money bringing your own alcoholic drinks. (Edit ; they charge that small an amount for corkage i never even noticed until they replied to this review) Friendly, attentive staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere complete the picture, making this one of my favourite places to bring the people that I love. x”

“I ate here last night with my two children and it was amazing. The food was delicious, fresh, came out quickly, and looked fantastic. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was lovely and clean. It was my 8-year-old's birthday and the staff made him feel so special. They brought out his cake with a sparkling candle and happy birthday music playing. He loved it!”

“Just been here this evening for the first time to celebrate my daughter’s 21st-family of 10. From the minute we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. The staff are so smiley and friendly, the place has a great atmosphere, and the food and presentation was faultless. Nicest place we’ve visited for a long time, thank you!”

Really like the medium of building your own custom plate. The Bun Cha (fishcake noodle soup) is the one to order; the flavour in that broth really is something special! You can tell these guys really care about the food. I wish the papaya salad was spicier & funkier but that might just be me. Either way it's still fresh & delicious.”

“Helen street chippy is a fantastic chip shop in peel green. Located on the corner on Helen street. Parking is street parking only but I've never had an issue finding a place. The staff are nice. There's a cold drinks fridge at an average price. The chips are lovely. Two types of curry sauce. Always hot and tasty food. Would recommend and I'm a regular customer here”
