“I had a couple of guinness. No food. Didnt see they had Murphys until late so i will be back for a pint of that They have tayto Great atmosphere here, people enjoying the craic or watching the GAA. I visited this pub when it was the Tavern. I wrote a bad review amd critised whoever was running it, as it seems like a nice wee spot. The new people who have taken it over have put some love into this. Well done. I went in with low expectations and was proved utterly wrong. I cant understand how they can offer a free buffett. I would urge you to give this place a go.”

“I had my wedding here last weekend and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!! The day was everything we hoped for and so so much more, and so much of that is down to the freedom the venue gave us to do things exactly how we wanted and the BRILLIANT staff!!!! I cannot recommend this venue enough - We had our wedding breakfast, speeches and evening reception there, and it was all just amazing. “Really enjoyed visiting The Range here in Altrincham. There’s a huge variety of things for sale, spread across two floors, and there’s even a lift if you don’t want to or cant use the stairs. The lighting section is quite fun cuz the lights stay off until you walk past, then they all come on. Parking is really spacious, and there’s a McDonald’s and other shops nearby, which makes it convenient for a longer trip out. Definitely worth a visit.”

“Nearly didn't book here due to some bad reviews. Glad I did because the place is fine. It does look a bit tatty on the outside but it is OK inside. Although it is on a main road into Manchester we were surprised at how little traffic there was overnight. Our room was overlooking the road and we had no problem with traffic noise. It had acoustic double glazing that was very effective. There is no air con but a fan is provided which helps. We were there on one of the hottest days/nights and found it tolerable. The meal deal was good. You eat in the pub which is attached to the hotel. Unfortunately it doesn't have any real ale but the Draught Guinness was good. There was a selection of lager and cider. So don't be put off, if it is convenient for you go for it.”

It’s meeting Saskia, Harvey, Toby and Chris that makes me want to go daily. They make a great team - everyone is made to feel welcome and special. You can immediately tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about both the quality of the coffee and the experience of everyone who walks in. Oli in particular has this effortless way of making the space feel welcoming, friendly, and his attentiveness is very wholesome. He remembers people’s preferences, checks in with guests thoughtfully, and the whole atmosphere runs smoothly under his watch. The drinks are consistently excellent, the service is efficient but personal, and there’s a calm, professional energy even during an influx. If you’re looking for a spot where you’re treated like a valued regular rather than just another customer, this is 100% it. Highly recommended!”

“We have ordered food from Great Indian kitchen quite a number of times and have always been a happy customer. We love their food so much that we opted for their catering service for our daughter’s baptism event. Everyone loved the food and it was a pure delight. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good Indian tea specially their chicken Hyderabadi and Samosa which are almost like Delhi style.”

“Robina and John are the most wonderful neighbours to have over the road from Hive Stores. They both work very hard to bring a lot more joy and creativity to the neighbourhood and are always willing to help where they can. The waiting room cafe has the best value full English around and the engine room is set to become a great creative hub. Whilst enjoying breakfast on our day off we conversed with familiar faces from the local neighbourhood who were enjoying crafts and socialising in a relaxed atmosphere. The fresh salads from the salad bar were crisp and full of flavor, the fries were perfectly cooked and delicious, and the steaks were tender and juicy.
