“My two girls have been with Damien Hey Dance Academy for six months, and we couldn’t be happier. Both Damien and Sam always go above and beyond to make sure all of their students achieve what they are capable of, but more importantly provide a nurturing environment that their kids feel happy in and are made to feel part of the DHDA family as soon as they walk through the door for the first time! They are fully invested from day one! Both girls already having danced for a number of years at a different school, we made the move to DHDA and the incredible progress they have both made absolutely makes the 490 mile round trip for lessons worth it! They come home enthusiastic and excited for the next one. I cannot thank Damien and Sam enough for all they do! If I could give more than five stars on here I would!”

“Our 8yo daughter attends Monday Acting School with Footlights and she absolutely loves it. She gets very excited to go every week because, in her own words, the class is creative and fun. She was asked to write a speech a couple of weeks ago and when she finished, she couldn't have been more proud of herself. We are delighted to see how much confidence in her abilities she has learnt in class and how much she enjoys it. “In 2015, after visiting 10 nurseries for our daughter we chose Canterbury Rd Day Nursery and we were very happy with our decision. The rooms, staff, play areas and management were and are excellent. Each day you receive a 'report' of what your child has done and now there is the online portal Capture where you see pictures and updates about your child plus you can upload your own too. There are 2 cooks that deliver healthy and varied meals with seasonal changes. There are regular events held at the nursery or local hall and parents evening twice a year. My daughter loved it there and now so does my son. If you are looking for a nursery for your child then I would highly recommend choosing Canterbury Rd.”

“HEADLINE: Thank you Megan and the Team for going out of your way to help me at a very stressful time. (This review is long overdue!) Weds morning 16 Aug 23 my car began "screaming" on the M61. I stayed in the slow lane and came off at the next junction and rang Parkills straight away. "Could I bring my car in?" Lovely Megan initially said at least a week. When I explained I am self-employed working across the NW and need my car, (don't work: don't earn) compounded by currently driving back and forth to a specialist vets 30+ miles away (my dog had cancer and days earlier had had a huge operation). Megan said she'd speak to the manager at 9. She called me back at 9 and said "bring the car in, though they may not get to it that day". A slow drive to Parkhills and I left it with them. Megan rang me that afternoon, they did in fact find out what was wrong with the car same day, then it was a case of waiting for parts, I added a full service to the work, and had a niggly tiny issue (I couldn't remove a plastic cap on one tyre valve to inflate it). Megan kept me informed throughout those 3 days (4 calls in 3 days) and I had my car back by Friday! So what could have been 2 weeks no income AND worry how I'd get my dog back to the vets in an emergency. I was only off the road for 2.5 days. This is the 2nd time Parkhills have provided excellent service and resolved an issue for me. I really appreciate Parkhills excellent customer service, going out of their way to look after me as a customer and the transparency of great videos illustrating what works needs to be done gives that added peace of mind. For me choosing a garage boils down to trust and good service, who will keep you safe on the roads. I'm confident when I take my car to Parkhills they'll do a good job and are always friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again Megan, and sorry this review wasn't posted sooner!”

“When I first went to Your Smile Clinic I wasn't expecting to get results because most of the places I went to get my teeth whitened never worked. I have struggled with my confidence when I smiled because I hated my teeth so when I went to see Angela I wasn't expecting much I just wanted whiter teeth for my wedding day. The final result shocked me and I couldn't be happier with them. Since getting it done I can't stop smiling. I went from smiling without my teeth showing to constantly smiling showing my new white teeth. Love them. Would definitely recommend Angela she really helped me get my confidence back.”

“From first walking in the door there is a relaxed atmosphere in the lovely, bright waiting room. Helpful and pleasantly chatty receptionists, reassuring and knowledgeable nurses (Lisa is very comforting), hygienists who take the time to explain what and why they are doing something, giving me a mirror to watch how I need the correct procedures to continue my treatment at home....and what can I say about Dr Mo....no wonder this practice has won so many awards. He talked me through everything he planned to do, answering any questions considerately, in easy to understand language and instils confidence in this previously nervous patient. I applaud this practice 100%. I always know how long the appointments will last and how much I will need to pay. Thank you for returning my confidence to smile and even though I no longer live in the area I have no qualms about travelling to this practice to ensure continuity and it's nice to be recognised as a returning patient.”

“My 6-year-old daughter took part in a 4-day holiday club at Little Voices this summer. Despite it being her first time there and not knowing any of the other children beforehand, she came running out on the first day with a big smile, excitedly sharing stories about her "new friends!" At the end of the week, parents were invited to watch the children's performance, and it was truly remarkable! Every child had a chance to shine in their own unique way, which was delightful to watch. Little Voices is such a nurturing environment and there was absolutely no pressure on the children over the 4 days, as some might worry about; the focus was on having fun—and my daughter certainly did that! We will be back, for sure. Thank you, Laura...you are amazing!”

My sons developed in so many ways , he can be quite stubborn at the best of times , standards here are super high and work with every single child needs no matter how high or how low. Staff are incredibly on form with teaching and how they run things and have a very highly standard of professionalism which you can see. They are open and honest with each parent . Reporting back each day if anything needs to be addressed or reported. There on form with everything. Highly recommended nursery for your child to go too especially if your wanting a nursery for your child with such high standards of learning and still at the same time as your child being able to still be a child at the same time”

“I have just completed the level 3 dog grooming diploma at The Paw Pad, I have had an amazing 1-1 experience with kind, friendly and experienced tutors. I felt comfortable and confident when handling the dogs in the salon knowing that I had full support by the staff. The owner Al was also able to provide amazing tips and tricks from a business perspective which has set me on the right path to becoming an Independent dog groomer. You are all amazing and thank you for all your help! If you are thinking about completing a dog grooming course, I highly recommend The Paw Pad team.”

Recently had a bigger problem with my car, called them up and they booked me in and fixed the issue in the same day, price was much better than expected and they explained clearly what the issues were. “Very happy with my first experience at Ivy today. I'm quite nervous attending the dentist but all of the staff were so kind and welcoming. I was seen by Malcolm and his dental nurse Paul, who were both very efficient and made me feel at ease straight away. Malcolm was brilliant at talking me through everything, making sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. Kim on reception was also lovely and made setting up my next appointments so easy. I expected a bit of a simple, quick service being later but Shelly was friendly, listened to what kind of style I like and took her time. “Since starting at the nursery over a year ago my 2 girls have come on in leaps and bounds.There are so many educational and fun activities that are incorporated into the nursery routine.The children even do yoga!! My girls come home everyday singing and in a cheery mood. The staff really take the time out to get to know and understand the wants and needs of the children individually and as a group and commuinication with myself and father has been very good.Would highly recommend this nursery.”
