“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

“Bit apprehensive on arrival what with my beer belly but what an absolute pleasure. The young lady made me at ease straight away and soon had me sorted. Never once felt uncomfortable in the suit at all. Well done”

“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”

“I keep being asked how my visit was by Google but I've only ever known this as a pub. It looks fantastic inside. I drank in there from 1986 upto 1995. To turn this into what in guessing is a young child's pool must have been such a gamble but it seems to have been a very clever one. I wonder if such imagination will go into other pubs that close. But please not another takeaway.”

“We had gone for a beautiful walk in this village and came across this beautiful restaurant. Unknowingly we went there without booking a table but the hospitality was amazing. “Wow what a find! And to hear that nemos Garage has always been a part of Hyde and hopefully always will be! I had tried several other garages only to be told would have to call back another time and don't know what your problem could be and even waiting in a reception to be ignored! To ringing nemos to be met with a kind pleasant positive response and a possible immediate opportunity to look at my car and problem! The garage is very smart and run very smartly clean and welcoming! The work on my car was done by the knowledgeable staff and other problems sorted too! Will definitely be going back there! “They were able to get me out of a hole (clutch failure) at short notice, very straightorward to deal with, gave me a competitive quote (similar to elsewhere) quickly and without hedging, replaced my clutch when they said they would, the guys there were very friendly, and the clutch has been fine since (been a couple of months as I write this since they did it). I'll definitely use this garage again.”

“This is an amazing salon everyone is so nice and welcoming. I was so nervous about going to a salon as I am new to the area. Stacey made me feel so welcome and at ease, we had a consultation and discussed what she thought was best for my hair and what I was looking, so setting a plan out. “Absolutely love Snobby Dogs and so does my doggy. We’ve been getting our dogs groomed here for years and they have always done a fantastic job. The accessories available are spot on too, my doggy loves her winter puffer jacket, so does anyone who sees her in it also! The fuss they make of my doggy whilst she is in their care has made her anxiousness disappear and she now strolls in and gets excited that she’s having a groom! The bows on the collar are a lovely little bonus and we have a great picture they took from last Christmas of her in a sleigh after her groom looking very pleased about her new ‘do!”

“The aesthetic in this place is phenomenal. I love the Bangladeshi touch to everything. You can tell they have put in a lot of effort and it does not disappoint. The breakfast/food was delicious, my family and I were impressed, we loved it. Staff were super kind and had great customer service. I will definitely visit again when I’m in Hyde”
