“The perfect match was a new place, recommended by our friends and it was a very pleasant surprise! The food was top notch, the wine pairings complimented the dishes impeccably, the service was perfect and the overall experience certainly worth the price. We chose the a la carte menu but we will be going back for the taster menu very soon. 2 starters, 2 mains with 2 side dishes, along with 2 desserts with their desert wine pairings went for around £70 pp which for the experience and quality was beyond worth it.”

“I was referred to Dr Waith at DCO to remove two troublesome wisdom teeth, one was particularly challenging. After an initial consultation & scans various options were discussed and ultimately decision was taken to remove them in two separate visits. Whilst its not top of my bucket list of things to do in life everything went very smoothly and I was back up and running after both procedures very quickly and delighted with the outcome. “Always been top class in customer service, had multiple weddings in the family and Andaaz has always helped us, we’ve bought shalwar kameez and waistcoats and prince jackets for big groups of boys and men, it’s so nice when all the boys are dressed the same on those special days. They are very affordable compared to other brands and the quality is beautiful and I cannot complain. Every year me and my family also buy Jubbas for eid from their wide selection and all sorts of other Islamic items (Tasbihs, prayer hats, abayas etc). May Allah bless their business immensely!”

“A pretty little gardens, great in all seasons, especially autumn when all the leaves change colour. In spring the flowers are beautiful and vibrant. Good place for a short walk with the dog, although dogs are kept on leads which is good for nervous dogs or puppies.”

“Needed some warm food in work as sick of eating cold food, pulled over in middle of Stockport (coming from Liverpool) and this place caught my eye, asked if they take card and they do which is spot on as I hardly carry cash anymore (bad I know) and nearly fell over at the price. I ordered a 10” garlic bread with cheese and a Pepsi max and all it came to was £4.55, I thought they had got it wrong but no after checking the menu it was correct. Pizza was lovely and took less than 10mins and it was ready would definitely recommend and will be coming again.”

“I visited Costa Gatley Sunday afternoon — a clean, well-maintained store with a cosy atmosphere and a good selection of food options. However, what stood out during my visit was an interaction at the till that left me quite surprised, and not in a good way. When I ordered a medium hot drink, the young girl serving me actively discouraged the choice. She suggested I go for a smaller size, saying: “There’s not much difference in size — go for the small and save some pennies.” As someone who has run a business for over a decade, I found this quite concerning. In most places, staff are trained to upsell — encouraging customers to consider larger sizes or additional items, which is standard practice in retail and hospitality. Her approach, while possibly well-intentioned, directly goes against basic principles of sales and revenue generation. Encouraging customers to spend less, especially unprompted, may seem kind, but it’s ultimately damaging to the business. In my view, this isn’t just unprofessional — it’s a risk to the long-term health of the store. Costa may want to consider reviewing training procedures to ensure staff understand the balance between customer service and commercial awareness. Thank you”
