“Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“We’ve been here twice recently because it’s just so good! The first time I had the Turkish eggs with halloumi and sausage, then the second time I went for the chicken and pancakes, both were amazing. One visit was around 11am on a Saturday and there was about a 15-minute wait, but definitely worth it. The other time we went a bit later and got a table straight away. You can book ahead, but they also keep some tables for walk-ins. Staff are nice and friendly and really good to accommodate allergies too”
