I recently went to see David Shirley at Strategem FP. Not only is extremely knowledgable on a wide range of financial planning aspects, he's also very approachable. I told him my ideas on an investment strategy (which would have given him some fee paying work). David listened, then spent quite some time explaining why my strategy was not the optimal one for me, and provided me with an alternative strategy, which was best for me, although didn't provide him with any fees.
