“The best fish ’n’ chips in the area. PERIOD. Anybody saying the Kingfisher on Parrin Lane is better — and the other comments — listen up. Yes, they are super friendly at the Kingfisher. They also close at 8:30, not the 9 p.m. this one does. And you can’t complain that this no longer takes card payments because neither does the Kingfisher, but this at least allows bank transfer — so basically it takes card payments. Also, saying it’s expensive? Last night I got a LARGE FISH & CHIPS with a pot of GRAVY and a pot of MUSHY-PEAS (both of which are far superior to Kingfisher’s) for £11.20. I think that’s very fair. I’m posting the pics here so you can see how amazing they are — and that’s after going to Lidl and walking 10 minutes home. Hot, delicious, and not greasy. 10/10. Give them a try at least once so you KNOW for yourself. :)”

“I went in this evening and the team had an assessment going on which obviously would’ve been highly stressful for them as it is with any job having an audit. Despite this the service remained perfect, food was great and minimal interruption. “Don’t expect more than what you’re paying for, but for the price is more than enough. The food is good, tasty, the portions are big and the price is cheap. It doesn’t take too long and is better than many cheap places from around. We always order the rice and the salt and pepper chips are the best. The wonton soup is really really nice too and the sweet chili chicken is the best. The price is usually never more than 15 pounds. We also ordered nuggets for my niece, she is a child and loved them. They’re not very tasty but they are nice.”

“Best burgers around by far!!! I saw all the other reviews online and was a little worried about ordering, despite knowing this place is renowned for amazing burgers. Wow it did not disappoint! We got 2 beef and 1 chicken to share some chips and chicken strips and was all 10/10 Only thing that let it down slightly was the temperature, so next time will definitely collect it as the shop in Salford is under 5 minutes from my home. Thanks so much for amazing burgers! The picture isn’t great but good portion sizes aswell.”
