On the design/co-ordinating front, Ben was highly creative and thoughtful (and patient!) and judged the degree of consultation and 'going ahead' (there were so many decisions to be taken) just right. On top of all of this, the team are personable and good to be around - a blessing when for a while I had to live with them cheek-by-jowl on what was effectively a building site. The result: a wonderfully transformed home and a very satisfied and grateful me.”

The design and creation was incredible and nothing was too much trouble. The installation was meticulously planned and a booklet was given with dates, names and numbers of everyone involved so we knew exactly what was happening and when. “We ordered our new kitchen from Kutchenhaus in Stockport. We could look at the displays at our leisure, with help and advice if needed. The planning was done in-store, which took into account our wishes together with advice from staff. The kitchen was ordered but could be delayed by ourselves if we had any hold-ups, which we did. This was helpful as we didn’t have to store the kitchen prior to installation. We were kept informed throughout the whole process. Any small problems were quickly solved by the staff, who were polite and attentive at all times. We are very pleased with our new kitchen, it is excellent quality, with lots of useful features. Also we feel reasonably priced for the type of kitchen we’ve had. Would highly recommend.”

“Getting there by public transport/foot: So I got the 192 from Manchester City Centre and you want to get off at Belmont Way, it's the stop after Belmont Bridge which is near Topps Tiles and Boots Opticians. You then follow Belmont Way all the way around and cross over to the left when you reach the ASDA mini shop and Farm Foods, keep walking up when you get to the corner you will see JYSK it's between Halfords and Wickes. It's about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace when you get off the 192. Store and Customer Experience: The actual store is very tidy and displays are done very well. It's shows a great range of products as well as incredible prices. As for customer service, it's probably the best I have experienced to date from any shopping experience. I have made a few visits and you never have the feeling that you would want to speak to a specific staff member over an other, as everyone of them that has helped me with customer service has been fantastic. An incredible team for customer experience. Delivery Service: They use a company called AnyVan. I purchased a 3-seater sofa and I could pick how many people I wanted to deliver it and what day (Mon - Fri). So one person delivering will be one price and an extra drivers mate will cost a little more. My sofa delivery price was £27 and for a drivers mate it would have been £40 but I wanted to keep cost down and was more than able to help the driver. They also have a great tracking system and the day before delivery will give you an estimated time slot, so keep checking your emails. I also made a measurement mistake and unfortunately I couldn't get the sofa through the communal areas. I called JYSK back after arranging a paid sameday collection from AnyVan and was then able to go back to the store to exchange it for a 2-seater sofa. Again. Great service on behalf of AnyVan and JYSK. Now I have my 2-seater sofa and will be going back for the armchair on my next pay day :D.”

“First time here today. Excellent garden centre. Large variety of plants. Found what I need. Will be back. Customer service was great today. I only went to shop for some plants, however shop sells everything from swimming pools, wallpaper and paints to compost and plant feeders.”

“Jess and Chelsea have proven to be commited to providing customers with the very best experience. They are endearing, warm, kind and helpful. Not just towards me but how I observed them helping other customers too. I had a situation where my ring caused an allergic reaction with my skin. I hadn't kept my receipt from 2 weeks prior. Yet Store Manager Chelsea along with Jess saw to it that I was supported in contacting Customer Services, even speaking directly with them in my behalf. The customer service were very understanding of my situation allowed me to trade in the ring up to the lowest Value its been on record. I'm very grateful to the staff. The store is in great hands under Chelsea's management. As for Jess, I learned today she is a temp for Christina's holidays. You would be a fool to let her go. “What an absolute gem of a place, huge place filled with all sorts of wonderful bits and pieces. Two floors of excellent quality good sturdy furniture. If you find a piece but its not quite the right colour have a chat with them and they see what they can do to lighten/darken it to suit you. Excellent find lovely place. even lovelier people that run the place (so sorry My memory is shocking when it comes to names) nothing it to much for them. “What a beautiful pub!! We first discovered stockport for afternoon drinking ( before lockdown) from a trip out with our local historian and Sentinel writer Mervyn Edwards.. we fell in love with the preserved Victorian history and friendly locals...since then we travel from stoke and stay over regularly. This visit I particularly wanted to discover the Star and Garter. Stunning building...on entrance we were warmly welcomed by barman Craig.. it was fascinating to learn about the pubs history and Craig's family working within the pub trade for generations. Of course we enjoyed Robinsons Iron Maiden bitter.. a perfect pint..a creamy head all the way down the glass! A cash only pub... my husband always supports Cash is King ! A lovely traditional friendly local pub.. we'll definitely visit again.”
