The food is consistently delicious, the staff are incredibly friendly, and both the team and management regularly check in to make sure you’re looked after. Every visit feels like a big family reunion — the atmosphere is always welcoming and full of good energy. Whether we pop in during a walk just for a drink, or bring family and friends who are visiting, it’s always our special go-to place. Everyone we take there ends up loving the experience and the food just as much as we do. The staff always take great care of us, and the manager often stops by our table with something new we have to try. I would highly recommend Puss in Boots to anyone in the Stockport area. The atmosphere truly makes you feel at home, and whoever you take there will leave with positive energy and appreciation for the warm interior and amazing service.”

“Julie spoke to me on the 'phone. She was so obliging and pleasant. Took broken microwave in late Monday and Tom said he would get back in a couple of days. Sure enough we got a call on Thursday to ask if the quote was OK and detailing what the problem was. It was OK. Got another call three hours later telling us it was fixed. Brilliant service and would recommend.”

“Had my son’s birthday party here on Sunday 3rd. It was the least stressful birthday party I’ve ever hosted. The 3 guys planned and organised everything and Lucy in the background making sure all the food was correct. Well catered for, one of the boys was lactose and they made sure he had everything. Everyone had such a fantastic 2 hours, kids and the overgrown kids as well. Would highly recommend. Thank you for making his party a great one.”

“Great experience with the family for my daughter’s birthday. We did the tea party room. Harder than what we thought it would be but very good fun. Very well put together and great back story when we started to set the theme. Would definitely recommend and will be returning to do another escape room in the near future.”

“These classes are great! I’ve just finished taking my son to the 0-3 month classes which have been so perfectly pitched for his age group. I was nervous about taking my newborn to a class but Natalie is such a great leader and has made such a fun, supportive environment. Cannot recommend these classes enough!”

“The service was efficient and the staff were so friendly! Our shopping trolley was broken so we ordered a new one, and in minutes the new one was ready to collect. They helped us put the new one together right there in the store and they even disposed of our old one for us!”

“Good selection of free from items and free from ready meals. Helpful staff and usually plenty of parking space. The nectar points are useful especially as you can convert avios points into nectar points now.”

“Came over to Base Camp in Stockport this weekend to purchase some Altberg boots. Mike was very helpful in explaining the different models and options available. It's definitely worth having your feet measured by a professional for this sort of thing and I'm really happy with my purchase. Base Camp also have a great selection of Paramo products in-store, looking forward to coming back and picking out a jacket later in the year.”

“Visited Rebecca’s new clinic today and had a hydra facial. As soon as you walk in you instantly feel at home with calm decor and a lovely open space you can tell you will be looked after by Rebecca . She’s a very outgoing and lovely girl who made me feel so special I never get down time but she made me relax and even better the results are fab I love it my skin feels so fresh and like glass I definitely will be back and cannot recommend her enough thanks Rebecca”

“Henry is a great golf coach , he is extremely patient and has a fantastic ability to talk through techniques which as a beginner is important for me . Henry is also coaching my children and is incredible with them and has a happy, genuine personality which really helps the kids listen and respect him”

“I discovered Barkley and Fetch in a pet shop in Bakewell, I love the patterns and designs of their products. Since then I have been buying collars on line not only for me but our son’s dogs too. We love them. They wash and wear really well and the quality is excellent. We love the colourful designs and the more neutral ones too. I can recommend Barkley and Fetch and currently have my eye on a doggie bag for walks.”

“Saturday 8th June 2024 Today, I had a good fortune to be in this grand little real ale micropub This pub had some excellent quaint beers on from small breweries. There were good local followers of real ale beers. The staff/owners were really good and knew their real ales. There was also a smashing quiet real ale outdoors drinking area at the rear of the pub. The best real ale pub in Hazel Grove by far”

“Spent an afternoon with a good friend here. The weather was gorgeous which just added to a marvellous day all round. We started with a breakfast in the stable cafe, and a cake to take away. The house itself is breathtaking. The solar is probably up there with the best rooms I've ever visited in a historic house setting. The guide outside the room was delightfully chatty, friendly and informative. Made us feel so welcome. It was great to see some of the conservation set up that they have on the go. We finished with a brisk walk around the grounds to finish the day.”

“Excellent pizzas! If you want great pizza for very little money and without the hassle of having to hang out with the in crowd Pix Pizza is the place for you. During my visit I noticed it was very family friendly too. I had the wild boar salami and green chilli pizza and my partner enjoyed his n'duja and mozzarella. The pizzas come with a small portion of some kind of mystery mayonnaise that makes the excess pizza crust taste delightful as well. They have some starters and a few desserts and they serve alcohol but one pizza was enough for a filling and delicious meal. Service was prompt and charming. Highly recommended.”
