“Shelly managed to fit me in last minute on a Saturday afternoon after the salon I was booked to go to let me down. I expected a bit of a simple, quick service being later but Shelly was friendly, listened to what kind of style I like and took her time. The result was lovely, and such a contrast to my previous experience at the other salon. All the ladies there seem to genuinely help each other, and created a lovely atmosphere. “I would like to thank Dexter's for advice - we have a young rescue cat who has been hungry all the time, even straight after food, waking up very early. The lady at Dexter's was so helpful, explaining that the food we were providing was not satisfying enough. We tried the recommended food and the difference has been amazing. She is more relaxed, playful and not demanding food all the time. She sleeps all night which is a huge bonus. Please visit for food, toys and advice.”

“I have been coming to Salon 51 since it first opened. It’s always been a very friendly experience, so much so that the whole family now use the salon today. Dionne has been cutting my (gents) hair for most of that time and I would thoroughly recommend her and the other girls who have looked after me over the years. Dionne has always been able to find appointments that are compatible with my busy diary and nothing has ever been too much trouble.”

I was hospitalised due to pneumonia, my daughter had braids in her hair from holiday and lots had fell out, she was devastated. My mum tried several hairdressers and finally went to Prestige. Jo and a colleague replaited my daughter’s hair immediately and even gave her replacement bobbles, when mum offered to pay they politely refused to accept anything. My daughters were upset that I wasn’t at home and this act of sheer kindness is beyond words. I actually am a customer of prestige however had not had extensions for some time (when I did they were amazing). However, the staff didn’t realise it was my daughter which is even more heartwarming thank you Jo and Team keep up the incredible work xx”

“My Jasper's groomer. I wouldn't take him anywhere else. I trust her implicitly with him. I know he'll be groomed the correct way a Rough Collie should be groomed and not end up looking like another breed of dog! I see so many posts on FB from owners of Rough Collies who are bitterly disappointed when they fetch their dog from the groomer. I was fortunate in that Maxine was highly recommended by Jasper's breeder so it was a no-brainer that I chose her. I have to travel on 2 buses to get to her salon but that's no issue as Jasper loves travelling on the bus and the passengers always compliment his glorious coat.”

“Our pug was urgently treated at Woodcroft for an ulcer on his cornea. The care from the staff was fantastic from the reception team, the nurses and the brilliant surgeon Alistair. Hopefully we are at the end of the treatment but I cannot recommend highly enough, every one at the hospital, pets are truly part of the family and watching what our Reggie has gone through is distressing, without Woodcroft it could have been so much worse.
