Clare and Rebecca have been fantastic tutors; incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in their craft, they have been professional, approachable and supportive throughout. It has been an absolute pleasure and privilege to learn from them. I would also like to thank Natalie, who has provided consistent and constructive feedback on my theory units allowing me to progress through the course. Of course, I can’t forget Michelle, who was also a great support during my first days at the school. I genuinely feel that the needs and welfare of the dogs in the salon is paramount to the Four Paws team which is incredibly important to me. The dogs themselves have been wonderful. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and develop different and appropriate grooming and handling skills required to work in the grooming industry. The course theory content is extremely comprehensive. I feel that I have gained much more knowledge in all things canine, including canine skin and the hair cycle, the different coat types, different breeds and kennel club groups. The accommodation is not only fantastic value for money but has enabled me to train at the school whilst travelling from South London which may not have been possible otherwise. There are of course training providers much closer to where I live, however I am so glad that I chose Four Paws. I don’t imagine that I could have had a better learning experience anywhere else. I would not hesitate to recommend Four Paws groom school to anybody wishing to pursue a career in dog grooming.”

“There are not enough words to describe just how AMAZING Mandy is! We are relatively new to Hot Doggy's but every time we have collected our little girl she looks like she's in a beauty pageant! Mandy is so precise with the way she cuts and styles dogs, I haven't seen anything like it before (not to mention how beautiful our girl smells after she's been pampered!). From first meeting Mandy there was just such a positive vibe and you can tell just how much care and love she has for the dogs she grooms. “This is the only place I take my double-coated rescue. This is the first groomer I have been to that I, and more importantly my dog, are happy with. Other groomers can cut fur, but you get so much more at Aliwags, they understand about hair growth and have rescued my dog from a previous bad groom elsewhere. Excellent value for money!”

Tom sectioned everything like a pro, cleaned it up without losing too much the length, and gave me a slick back that actually works with my natural wave. Nailed the beard, Straight top line, shaped to my face, no dips, no fuss. First time at a proper men’s salon and I’m honestly blown away. Tom didn’t just cut, he fixed it.
