“Sue & the team provided a lovely buffet my mum's 70th birthday, plenty of selection. Their service is efficient and will go ubove & beyond to any requests ie dietary, selection, delivery etc. Also followed by calls to check everything is ok etc. Sue takes pride in providing the best customer service. “Had a meal for two last night. Well worth the money. Chose keema madras nicest I've ever tasted and i can moan if it's not right. Second choice chicken tikķa masala beautiful a little bit too much coconut for me but was lovely. All in all the food well worth the money. Definitely ordering again x”

“My friend and I visited John Gilbert on 19th December for lunch. Service was very good (by Casey). Both our meals were very tasty and served lovely and hot. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. A nice relaxing ambience. I would definitely recommend this pub both for food and service.”
