“First time here. Took our dogs with us and the staff even gave them a free sausage as a snack. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Good atmosphere. Would recommend and will definitely return”

“To be honest, this guy makes freaking good pizza. Romana was simply delicious. Thin and crispy dough and lots of toppings. The only downside is that pizzas can only be ordered between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. But on the other hand, the price of the pizza is very low considering its high quality.”

“Loved this place, first visit and I'll definitely be back. Good beer, food and atmosphere. Very olde worlde christmassy. Traditional English pub food, done really well. Good portion sizes, well cooked and good value for money for this high quality. Range of traditional beers and larger. The usual spirits and wines. lovely surroundings and location. “I have been a customer at Raffles for around 30 years now. The girls and Dougie are great Hairdressers as well as being very friendly. Always have a good chat and giggle and come away always pleased with my hair. Highly recommend them”

“I visited whilst waiting for a train - the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The menu was clear, and varied with delicious options. I opted for a Jacket Potato with Tuna which was a great size, baked to perfection and served with a lovely salad. This with tea was £6 - great value for money in a gorgeous cafe.”

“Popped in the first time last week, then again this week. Their food especially chips (not fries) are massive and crispy and lovely MUCH better than chip shop ones.. imagine chip shop sized but French crisp fried! All food is clean and hot! (not greasy) properly cooked and delicious. And a breakfast for 5.50 is amazing! My new hangout!”

“Sue & the team provided a lovely buffet my mum's 70th birthday, plenty of selection. Their service is efficient and will go ubove & beyond to any requests ie dietary, selection, delivery etc. Also followed by calls to check everything is ok etc. Sue takes pride in providing the best customer service. I would certainly recommend. Every guest commented on the quality and variety of the food provided. Thankyou x”

“Food was bang on everything looked fresh and everything smelled amazing different sections they have a grill Chinese and chip shop went for donner lamb on a tcake with chip shop chips mayo and chilli sauce everything was 10 out of 10 it was because of others reviews that I chose this place”

“I went to Coal and Cotton twice within two weeks, first time with husband and sister in law, was atclynch time, so not too noisy, as it was lunch time. The atmosphere was quite but still lovely so you could talk. Went the second week with a friend for tea in the evening, was alot busier but still not too busy, so it was still a lovely atmosphere. The food is always lovely, I just think the main potions don't have to be so large. The only thing I was gutted was I forgot to use my loyalty card, I just think it would be a good idea if a member of staff could ask if you have a loyalty card.”

“I visit here quite a lot with my partner as the food is always great and he just loves the hot chocolate from there. The staff are always polite and great to talk to while you wait, if they are not busy of course serving other customers. It's a warm friendly environment with places to sit both in and out the establishment. If you're on the move they do indeed do take out. The food and drink are always piping hot so you it's going to be good. Just don't do a me where I've been to impatient and drank/ate it before it cooled down.”

“I only popped in for a brew whilst I was waiting for my tyres to be done at Halfords. It's was quite, allowed me to get a bit of work done and had a brew. The lady that was there was lovely, really welcoming and checked I was ok frequently, which was sweet.”
