“What a gem of a place. This is one of the most authentic and pleasent Italian places I had the pleasure to eat at in a very long time. Let's say that if I lived in theare me and my girlfriend would most definitely weight a few more stones/Kgs. As well as the food it is cosy, attentive stuff, quick enough service (to not make you think they want you out of the door) definitely a must try.... Book of you can as space is limited.”

“Just visited for the second time today after a brilliant experience and food the first time. We walked in as advised as they were fully booked and managed to get a table. The food was delicious and they were great dealing with our fussy 4 year olds requests. We had the carbonara and a pizza and thoroughly enjoyed both. The decor is fab too and all the staff were fun and welcoming. We'll be back again!”

“We love it at The Hale Pizza Express. We come on a weekly basis knowing we will be warmly greeted by Massimo. The food is always perfect and tweaked to our liking. “Wish there was a mocha on the menu because coffee on its own is a little strong for me. I did ask but he said there is hot chocolate usually when I ask they just add some Choco into the coffee drink. Table service seems like a very cute place staff are nice just stood at the front for a bit until we asked to be served and wasn’t sure how it worked, you sit down and the staff come to you. Toilets are on the bottom floor. Open late which is great. Close to tram stop and it was nice to stop by before heading to our next stop.”

“After following how this place went above and beyond to survive since Covid, it was great to finally be there in person... The welcome is so warm, Mediterranean and done exactly beautifully right! The food - pictures speaks for themselves! The starter and dessert sharing boards are phenomenal. Fill of varieties and flavours. The pasta dishes were delicious and delivered a great intense flavour. Though, nothing beats the sharing of boards. The service was super attentive, friendly and welcoming. We loved it! Milano refused to meet me half way. I'll no longer be going back to Milano . He's rude ,and unable to meet his customers concerns. His loss ,id normally spend around 600 pounds a year..”

“Had takeaway from here for the first time last Wednesday. It won't be the last! The food was lovely. I made my own veggie pizza which was really tasty, my dad had a Hawaiian pizza which he enjoyed and my mum had a gourmet burger which she said was really nice. We ordered chips and onion rings also. Before the food came, we had been saying how takeaway chips aren't usually that nice as they are quite soggy, however, we were pleasantly surprised at these as they were lovely and crispy, as were the onion rings. The delivery driver was very friendly as well. We will be regular customers here!”
