“Holyrood Salford have been a great support whilst our daughter has been settling in and she’s settled in just fine. She loves it. We really like the fact that a lot of play is outside where kids can be kids and get the fresh air they need. Our daughter skips in and comes home smiling telling us all about her day ‘at work’. “I am so glad this store opened in Media City. It was badly needed. I come in here nearly every day for groceries. I’m never disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially if I get stuck with the self service tills. There is a wide range of goods available, certainly enough to keep you going if you live in Media City. I would recommend getting the Co-Op App and becoming a member. It only costs £1 and you get lots of savings on your shopping. All you need to do is scan your bar code when you pay and you’ll see the savings. The store is situated near several apartment buildings and there is a car park and two hotels next to it. There are also many bars and restaurants nearby too so it’s a handy stop after an evening out. There are often price reductions in the evenings too if you’re looking for a bargain. “I had the wonderful opportunity to visit federal market over the weekend with my sister. There was a small line but we were welcomed with hot chocolate and a wonderful greeting which made it feel like a much shorter wait. As we sat, I was greeting kindly by our waiter as we roughly scanned through the menu with only one thing in mind, French Toast. As the french toast arrived, I was astonished and amazed at the presentation. A nice strawberry syrup almost circling the french toast. Taking my first bite, the soft and pillow-like toast mixed with the not so overly sweet whipped cream and strawberry jam that really worked with well together with the acidity of the fresh fruit cutting through the richness. Every bite was consistent with that same taste as the first bite which I believe is crucial in any dish. The place was vibrant and welcoming with a nice atmosphere. Music even playing at the perfect volume where you can speak to the people with you and still enjoy it. 100% my new favorite spot here in Manchester. Recommend everyone to try the french toast.”

One staff member in particular helped us a lot with the bigger wall and harnesses. We are 100% coming back. If you're an adult and accompanying a child, wear comfortable clothes because if you're physically able to join in; you will definitely want to! Excellent place. They also serve food and have good facilities.”

The staff were wonderful, the seating and decor was great and modern with usb sockets and clips for dog leads. All on the ground floor so easily accessible for differently able people. It came with buttered toast, as well as some salad on the side. The toast had a tad bit too much butter in it for my personal liking, but it was still nice! (I'm just a bit weird with butter :| ). The omelette was a good size too! In the fridge I spotted an oasis summer fruits drink.. IN A CAN! When was the last time you saw Oasis IN A CAN?? I didn't even know it existed. Of course I got it, and it was soo weird drinking from it, it was so strange drinking it from a can as opposed to a bottle which I've got every other time. I didn't get a photo - but the seats were pretty interesting! They were cubes. Cubes. We sat on CUBES. it was pretty comfortable, too...”

Many other options such as alternative lattes and teas. Also new cakes & pastries available each week. Small seating space downstairs, or large benches and sofas for groups upstairs.”

“I love Heron Foods. I wouldn't use it instead of a normal supermarket but have some really nice stuff. I especially go when they have the baby food in as its alot cheaper than the supermarkets. For example the Heinz 1+ foods are 2 for £1 where it's £2 just for one in supermarkets I've also bought baby porridge of 39p each or 69p each and then the tubs of porridge which are normally £3 in supermarkets are £1 so saves me a heck of alot of money. They don't have baby food in all time though its one of those once its gone its gone and then they will bring stuff back in a month or so.”

“This Costa is usually and understandably busy but I was very happy to get a table today. I had a lovely cappuccino and a cake. It is a very nice Costa to take a break in and watch the shoppers walk by. The staff were very friendly, they cleared and cleaned my table for me. “We had a great stay, the room was great but they are very warm. Great location for Aviva studios, just a short walk away. There is a small car park which we had no issue parking in during the week. Its 15 pound for 24 hours paid via Ringo. I left my kindle there and after some back and forward, I did eventually receive it in the post.”
