“Always a winner for service and smiles! ​Seriously, what makes this place so great? It's the staff, every single time. In all the years I've been coming to Wagamama Media City, the team has been absolutely amazing. It's often a bit quieter than it should be, but honestly, the customer service is bang on—they are so attentive and welcoming! ​I went with a classic this time: one of their donburi rice dishes, a side of gyoza, and a few extra chilies to spice things up, and I was sorted! Plenty of smiles all round, and they've genuinely never let me down. Highly recommend a visit! ​I hope they see it and feel the love!”

“I’ve been a huge Crystal Maze fan since I was a child and this place is very authentic and true to the original game. We were a party of 4 and everyone got to play at least 4 games while travelling around the 4 zones. My only critique is that I feel like there should be some sort of prize at the end or a scoreboard or something as it felt like a bit of an anticlimax. It is quite a treat to spend so much money on 90 minutes of entertainment, but truly, I would do it again. I loved it!”

“Fantastic service and food. We had a birthday dinner for two and they made the birthday girl feel special. Ambiance was modern and luxurious. We had starters of arancini and croquettes that were delicious. Mains we opted for steaks that were perfect with a cherry & almond dessert. All of this was absolutely divine. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to enjoy the lobby and grab a drink at the theatre bar. Photography is usually not allowed during shows, so plan to enjoy the performance fully. It’s easily accessible by tram (St. Peter’s Square or Deansgate-Castlefield stops), bus, or a 10-minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road Station. “A perfect way to beat the heat on a warm summer’s day! The cruise was excellent, with an engaging, well-spoken guide who shared plenty of interesting facts. The crew were warm and helpful, and the boarding point—right under the Millennium Footbridge by The Lowry Theatre—was clearly signposted. Great value for money, offering a chance to explore hidden corners of Manchester and Salford you wouldn’t normally see, including MediaCity, The Lowry, the Imperial War Museum North, Old Trafford, and the historic Manchester Ship Canal. Absolutely worth it!”

They also have Thief Street in the kitchen, the food was fantastic, great portion sizes and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. Drinks are on the pricey side, with a pint of Guinness costing £6.70, but since we’re not big drinkers, we just had one drink each so it didn't affect us too much”

“We haven't lived here long but the main spotlight of the place is the beautiful esmeralda, she always welcomes you in the morning with a smile and assists in the best ways possible. The place is always spotless and makes the place feel more comfortable.”

“Building management and reception are always friendly. Only place to park is the car park opposite which is owned by the council and limited to 3 hour stay and they are quick on the fines if you go over that. Alternatively there is a tesco next to the building which also has a 3 hour policy. Hope I can save a ticket or 2 with this info.”

“The first plus is the service. Everyone we encountered was super helpful, polite and generous with their time!! The room we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable! We slept very well! The neighborhood is very nice. Avenues lined with mature trees and attractive houses. 15 minutes to airport without extra traffic. 7 minutes by car, into adorable town with great and varied restaurant options! Oh, and affordable for this retired couple.”

“Really amazing staff, everyones really well dressed and put together and the vibes were amazing. Drink prices are on the higher side but honestly didn't mind bc of the great atmosphere. Security are also fairly alert when it comes to dealing with messy drunks and the toilets are very clean.”
