“Always a winner for service and smiles! ​Seriously, what makes this place so great? It's the staff, every single time. In all the years I've been coming to Wagamama Media City, the team has been absolutely amazing. It's often a bit quieter than it should be, but honestly, the customer service is bang on—they are so attentive and welcoming! ​I went with a classic this time: one of their donburi rice dishes, a side of gyoza, and a few extra chilies to spice things up, and I was sorted! Plenty of smiles all round, and they've genuinely never let me down. Highly recommend a visit! ​I hope they see it and feel the love!”

“Such a fantastic nail salon! The staff are always so friendly, quick, and do such a wonderful job every time I get my nails done. I’ve never had an acrylic nail lift since going here, they’re just that good! Amazing at designs, isolated chrome, and cat eye too!”

“Stylist was Daniel. My first time at James Roberts and Daniel did an excellent job cutting my very thick hair so in my book he's a very good hairdresser. Very attentive, polite, listened to what I wanted, wasn't pushy. Really pleased and will definitely be back. Good atmosphere in the Salon overall with a friendly team.”

“I’ve been a huge Crystal Maze fan since I was a child and this place is very authentic and true to the original game. We were a party of 4 and everyone got to play at least 4 games while travelling around the 4 zones. My only critique is that I feel like there should be some sort of prize at the end or a scoreboard or something as it felt like a bit of an anticlimax. It is quite a treat to spend so much money on 90 minutes of entertainment, but truly, I would do it again. I loved it!”

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience celebrating my sister’s birthday! I initially came across the restaurant on Google while searching for gluten-free options, and I love how it caters so thoughtfully to people with allergies. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Huge thanks especially to Salvador, he went above and beyond to explain gluten-free options and made the evening truly memorable. The restaurant’s decor, the cake, and the food created a warm, celebratory atmosphere. My sister was submitting her master’s thesis on the same day and wasn’t initially in a celebratory mood, but the team made the day unforgettable. I had the Spaghetti Aragosta e Gamberoni and asked for extra chili and a slice of lemon, and Ericka provided it quickly with a friendly, helpful attitude, her service was great as well. Compliments to the chef too: my sister had the gluten- free pizza and said it was the best she’s ever had! Thank you again, Salvador, we will definitely be back. It’s service like this that makes places truly memorable!”

“Love this pub inside and out. It’s got so much history and charm. The building used to be the Manchester & Salford Children’s Mission back in Victorian times, where they ran a kitchen for kids and the homeless. Now it’s this brilliant underground pub, and you can still see the old glazed brick walls when you head downstairs, which just adds to the atmosphere. I’d love to see more of that story told inside. There are a few old photos up, but no info with them... a bit of context would make it even better. Doesn’t put me off going though, it’s still one of my favourite spots in Manchester.”

“A great location for a family walk. There's a free car park and small visitor centre/cafe. We did a full loop around the water before playing at the park. There were horses and donkeys in the field next to the car park and the kids enjoyed going up to the fence to say hello.”

We had starters of arancini and croquettes that were delicious. Mains we opted for steaks that were perfect with a cherry & almond dessert. All of this was absolutely divine. “My Visit to the Opera House Manchester My visit to the Opera House Manchester was an unforgettable cultural experience. This historic theatre, opened in 1912, is one of Manchester’s most elegant and iconic performance venues. With its beautifully restored Edwardian architecture, plush seating, and grand interior, it offers the perfect setting for musicals, concerts, ballets, and drama performances. The atmosphere inside was vibrant and welcoming. The acoustics were excellent, and the staff were friendly and well-organized, ensuring a smooth entry and interval experience. The show I attended was brilliantly produced — a true reflection of Manchester’s rich performing arts scene. Visitor Tips: Book tickets in advance through the ATG Tickets website for the best seats. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to enjoy the lobby and grab a drink at the theatre bar. Photography is usually not allowed during shows, so plan to enjoy the performance fully. “A perfect way to beat the heat on a warm summer’s day! The cruise was excellent, with an engaging, well-spoken guide who shared plenty of interesting facts. The crew were warm and helpful, and the boarding point—right under the Millennium Footbridge by The Lowry Theatre—was clearly signposted. Great value for money, offering a chance to explore hidden corners of Manchester and Salford you wouldn’t normally see, including MediaCity, The Lowry, the Imperial War Museum North, Old Trafford, and the historic Manchester Ship Canal. Absolutely worth it!”

“Fantastic experience when we went on Friday past to see Disturbed. Venue was excellent. Well staffed, felt secure, well organised. Not once did I feel that the venue was over crowded etc. Also a fantastic location, the arena in the middle of a city centre and doesn't dominate the surrounding area. Would definitely return for shows in the future especially as I have found the perfect hotel close by and the travelling is so easy.”
