“Darren is a great teacher with the patience of a Saint. I've never danced in my life and only went because the wife wanted to go, but I really enjoy it. Classes are held at the Methodist Church Hall Denton ( opposite Morrisons Crown Point) 6.30 to 7.30 for beginners. 7.30 to 8.30 for intermediates.”

“My two girls have been with Damien Hey Dance Academy for six months, and we couldn’t be happier. Both Damien and Sam always go above and beyond to make sure all of their students achieve what they are capable of, but more importantly provide a nurturing environment that their kids feel happy in and are made to feel part of the DHDA family as soon as they walk through the door for the first time! They are fully invested from day one! Both girls already having danced for a number of years at a different school, we made the move to DHDA and the incredible progress they have both made absolutely makes the 490 mile round trip for lessons worth it! It makes her soul sing to be a part of such an inclusive, dynamic, nurturing and encouraging dance school. We travel quite a distance to attend CPA, but is worth every mile and cannot recommend enough. My daughter is now going onto attend the Classical Pathway Btec course at CPA and we are over the moon that this is an option for dancers leaving school wishing to consider a career within this industry.
