“I had the pleasure of trying traditional Fredo espresso here, and it was incredible. Rich, strong, and perfectly brewed with — every sip felt authentic and comforting. “Had a impromptu lunch date at this cafe and it was wonderful! the atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming. The staff are warm and helpful ,we had to a make dietary request and they accommodated it and it wasn't any bother. cafe is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, they have different types of chairs which was a life saver for my back! Absolutely loved the food , a little expensive I would say but definitely worth it , best BBQ chicken cheese toastie I've had and the salad that accompanied it was gorgeous. Just what was need on a hot day. I would definitely recommend this place !”

“What can I say! I’ve been coming daily to Kickback for my morning coffee for over three years. The coffee is excellent, that’s a given. It’s meeting Saskia, Harvey, Toby and Chris that makes me want to go daily. They make a great team - everyone is made to feel welcome and special. They work incredibly hard and are a credit to the wider Kickback team. If I could give 6 stars I would!”

“It’s been quite a while since I have last visited, and the quality of absolutely everything has not dipped in the slightest. The place is always clean and clear, with a comfortable atmosphere and welcoming owners serving fresh food and kind, sincere service. I highly recommend visiting for breakfast or lunch whenever you are available - you will enjoy the experience. But you may have to schedule your visit if you plan on afternoon tea - it can be busy for good reason!”

“My new favorite breakfast spot! The staff here are absolutely amazing, so warm, welcoming, and kind. As someone who’s shy and Muslim, it means a lot to feel genuinely comfortable in a new place. They go out of their way to make sure I’m looked after, and they even adjust the food to fit my needs without me having to ask twice. It honestly feels like home. What touched me the most? “I had the wonderful opportunity to visit federal market over the weekend with my sister. There was a small line but we were welcomed with hot chocolate and a wonderful greeting which made it feel like a much shorter wait. As we sat, I was greeting kindly by our waiter as we roughly scanned through the menu with only one thing in mind, French Toast. As the french toast arrived, I was astonished and amazed at the presentation. A nice strawberry syrup almost circling the french toast. Taking my first bite, the soft and pillow-like toast mixed with the not so overly sweet whipped cream and strawberry jam that really worked with well together with the acidity of the fresh fruit cutting through the richness. Every bite was consistent with that same taste as the first bite which I believe is crucial in any dish. The place was vibrant and welcoming with a nice atmosphere. Music even playing at the perfect volume where you can speak to the people with you and still enjoy it. 100% my new favorite spot here in Manchester. Recommend everyone to try the french toast.”

“As a family tradition we go out for breakfast on the morning of a holiday. We tried this cafe as the reviews were very positive and my wife had heard about it through a work colleague. The staff were very welcoming. There were a few regulars in who made the place seem very community focussed, more friends than customers. The food was really good freshly prepped after we ordered. When I mentioned where we going on holiday the lady who served us explained she was from that same area originally and advised us of things to look out for. Can't fault it. We will visit again definitely.”

“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”

Oli in particular has this effortless way of making the space feel welcoming, friendly, and his attentiveness is very wholesome. He remembers people’s preferences, checks in with guests thoughtfully, and the whole atmosphere runs smoothly under his watch. The drinks are consistently excellent, the service is efficient but personal, and there’s a calm, professional energy even during an influx. If you’re looking for a spot where you’re treated like a valued regular rather than just another customer, this is 100% it. Highly recommended!”

“Perfect little coffee stop for lunch & a quick caffeine hit! In the outskirts of the city for the day, I only had a short hour to find somewhere to eat & drink - Capuchin was the perfect little location! I initially walked past the door the first time, looking inside but being informed to go someplace else (close-by) which was supposedly the place to go... It was meant to be though because this location was being re-furbished & therefore, I came back here & was glad I did. The food was delicious & the coffee even better! I was served quickly with a friendly smile & the food didn't take too long to come out either. I can't remember how much it all came to but it wasn't a bad price & something totally expected for a good quality brunch & coffee. Would return & recommend a lot in what seems to be a competitive little corner (street). Well done guys!”
