“Dishoom Spinningfields is one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. When it first opened back in 2018, it was Dishoom’s first restaurant in Northern England, and since then they’ve set a remarkable standard of both food and service quality and certainly left me coming back for more. The interior is super impressive, cool and unique. Dishoom is based on the old Irani cafés in Bombay, and the interior is so large and feels like no other restaurant in the city. My go-to dishes are the Chicken Ruby with Basmati Rice and occasionally the Gunpowder Potatoes. The portion sizes are generous, and the rich spices of the curry are super good — it’s obvious they use great quality ingredients and seasonings. For drinks, again the selection is vast, with my favourites being the regular Chai and the Mango Lassi, which are both really good. There is always a staff member walking around topping up tap water, so you’ll never go thirsty. The pricing is a little high, but I feel it is worth it for the quality. Matka Holders can also roll a dice at the end of their meal to potentially earn everything for free, food and alcohol included, during certain times. This makes it all fun, being able to put the meal on the roll of a dice. Due to having an allergy, I can scan a QR code on the menu for the latest information, and all the staff members are well trained in dealing with allergies. They’re aware of coeliac disease and the danger of cross-contamination, and always keep my items separate from my friends’ when I dine in a group. Overall, this is one of the places to be in Manchester if you’re looking for good food with fantastic allergy awareness, overall ambience/vibes, food and service quality. It’s a place that you can go for a special occasion or even a quick lunch (although a lunch menu / meal-deal offer would make it even more enticing for sure!).”

“This place deserves 5 stars. Firstly upon entering the place was greeted by such a lovely and happy Chinese lady. They really do treat you like you are a valued customer. However regardless of this the food. Out of the hundreds of Chinese takeaways I've tried around the uk the food is the BEST. For my order I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. Yes they really did cook everything fresh. Even when I entered the building the lady was making something from scratch. When I got home the food was unbelievable. Sweet and sour chicken, the chicken batter still crispy it was so fresh. And it literally melted in my mouth. The ribs, crispy and extremely meaty, full of meat! The homemade spring rolls were the nicest I've ever tried. Unreal. And everything else we ate was just so fresh and full of flavour Another amazing thing, I didn't get that extreme thirst which you usually get from Chinese takeaways - most likely since the food is homemade and not from packets or jarred sauces. And lastly, pricing. I mean the prices are like they were years ago. Usually a £45 order cost us £29 today I honestly wish that this place gets the recognition it deserves because it really is the best in every possible aspect. Thank you so much pearl garden. “If you're looking for some delicious and authentic Italian street food in Manchester Arndale, then Wolf is the place to be. They offer a variety of options including wraps, salads, and pizzas. I've tried their pizza and it was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!”

Revisited in April 2022, the updated menu just keeps on getting better, plenty of plant based options if you have non-meat eaters in your party. “Very good pizza considering that it's just a takeaway place. I would say at real italian pizzeria level. Good deals every week. I need to mention that their fries are one of the best I ever had in my life! Only little negative note, not much of vegetarian pizza flavours. Bread is the perfect texture and has a fantastic fermented flavour :) Price is just right for what you’re getting and the portions are great! Highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried Ethiopian or to anyone who’s looking for it in Manchester. “Not sure where the people giving bad reviews were but this lovely place is a little hidden gem. Been several times and brought other family and friends. Lovely friendly staff, food is tasty and plentiful (and yes we have tried several different things from the menu). Super fast service and our drinks have always been served just before the food. Perfect :) The garden seating is really tranquil and relaxing. We recommend this to anyone, you won't be disappointed!”

“Couldn't star the food as we didn't have any HOWEVER.... the lady who owns The Gallery is an incredible artist and it shows in the decor. Before I go any further, this is also a great bar with lovely cocktails. Stunning is an understatement, there is something interesting to look at everywhere you turn. Inside and outside, just beautiful, a gorgeous place to visit. I just wish she opened every day and night, but alas, only Thursday to Saturday. Friday being the only late one till 10pm. Go and visit, you won't be disappointed.”

“Food is top notch and had a great meal. Walked in and kinda stood in the middle awkwardly waiting to been seen too, it looked like they were having issues with one of the machines, thought someone would have acknowledged us or asked if we wanted a seat (if someone said hi be with you in a second we won't of felt weird, like we were in the middle of their service). We approached one of the waitresses and asked if we can sit outside, found a space and was given a menu, asked if we wanted a drink straight away but said we needed time to review the menu as it was our first time here. Our waitress was very younger and honest with her description about the food. The menu sounded tasty and wanted to try it all, but settled for the eggs Benedict, my partner getting the salmon and I got the bacon. Ordered a passion fruit smoothie and a pineapple smoothie too, these came out very quickly and were very refreshing, the passion fruit was sweet and sharp and was a decent amount. We were told that my bacon dish would come out later as they ran out of supplies and asked if I was happy to wait and I agreed, 5minutes later both of our meals came out and looked fantastic! The garlic spinach was bang on, not over powering at all, the bacon was real bacon, tasted of good quality and decent amount and the eggs were a little over for my liking but tasty none the less. The potatoes were well seasoned and very crispy, enjoyed dipping into some ketchup. Fantastic meal and highly recommend it. My partners dish looks scrumptious too. After both finishing our meals, we were satisfied and happy with the meal we had just had but wanted a sweet treat. We ordered a plate of pancakes to share, best decision of the day. Three beautifully stack pillows with caramelised banana in-between with just the right amount of Nutella on.. the picture can not convey how tasty this was! Although we had a great experience here, some other patrons didn't, two people had a delay with their coffee which they made very clear to the rest of the diners, telling everyone how they had waited a long time as they left, turns out busy bees were having issues with the coffee machine and the diners were told, even given a brownie for the delay but still left disgruntled. Another table waited the entire length of our meal (two courses) to be served hers only to be packaged up for her to take away. Amazing to have something like this so close to us and can't wait to visit again, it is new and more can be done to refine the service making it more smooth and to help all patrons have the same experience but I'm really happy something like this is here (Perhaps giving roles or sections/tables to stop doubling up (one table was asked if the food was okay by three different waitresses)). Definitely coming back again for the food, well worth a visit!”

Most staff friendly but some could do with smiling a bit more but really a great stores and highly recommended. Snackifry nuggets and chip fab addition. “Great big neon signs to attract your attention. We ordered online (no honestly we were on the tram back from Bury) and collected our order when we got off at Heaton Park. Friendly staff and everywhere is clean, theres a few stools in the waiting area. We ordered 2 burgers, chips, cheesy chips and onion rings. When we got home the burgers were wrapped in foil and then greeseproof paper so they were still hot and fresh. The sauce is a little too hot for us but still very nice, onion rings were crispy as were the chips.”

“Number 1 Indian restaurant in the Bolton area. Some serious connoisseurs of Asian cuisine amongst our group. Veterans of the southern Indian lamb delicacy converted to the North Indian variety served here. Sizzling platters incredible, combined with incredible curry and sides in the original el tel combo meal, this place is one not to be missed. Will be back again next week, top tier place- give it a try!”
