“Just been to heroes of Waterloo for lunch- 5 adults.We had a table in the restaurant. The choice of food was extensive and comparably priced. The portions were very good, well cooked and presented. The food was of good quality. The service was good, flowed well, not long periods of waiting and at the same time not rushed. Surroundings well maintained and clean Good atmosphere. “Good value for money food, a decent selection of real ales if that is what you like (a taster offered to my partner so it was easier to choose). Always a friendly welcome from the landlady and bar staff alike. Great quiz on a Sunday night with free sandwiches and beer tokens as prizes. Ps the aforementioned "landlord " is no longer there.”
