“Had a lovely girl serve me at the kiosk ( around 5:30 ish she was originally on the self checkout) - she had blonde hair and a nose ring. She was so friendly and we had a lovely conversation - and communicated she was getting used to the till but the service was super quick. Having been on my work break and having such a nice staff experience is something that puts a smile on my face. Such a kind girl - should definitely be awarded.”

“Where do I begin, from the get go I knew this hotel was for me, dirty and cheap. We was one of the lucky ones in the hotel who actually got bedding, there was a bit of a down side due to no shower working but that’s easily fixable as the legend known as IAN In reception said he would get the boys on to it thanks for forgetting to charge us Ian you are the good guy here and me and the boys love ya until next year stay safe and please stay open! “We are a student accommodation in Bolton, and used Barton Direct Services throughout July and August 2023 for our Summer turnaround cleans, of over 100 rooms and kitchens. The cleaning was carried out to a very high standard, and the minor snags we picked up on were quickly rectified. It was reassuring to have the same team on site each day; especially as they were all so punctual and polite. It is clear that the team have pride in their work too, and they all went above and beyond their roles in also pointing out maintenance issues to us. Despite some of the most humid days of the year, the team showed up every day looking smart in their uniform; which made them easily recognisable for our residents still in house, and for our security staff. We were equally impressed by the management and supervision of the cleans, who created a fool-proof sheet to keep track of where we up to and updated this daily. There were a number of fairly last minute rooms added to the cleaning list and these were handled fantastically. We hope to work with Barton Direct Services again next summer and would recommend to anyone in the PBSA industry,”
