“Lovely nails salon, friendly and professional staffs. The art design is such a top in Altrincham. I asked for a design which is very complicated, they didn't have a charm similar but the nails technician lady has drawed it by herself and made it 3D. The result look incredible. Highly recommend!!!”

So when I discovered The Knot on Instagram, I was comforted by their customer-first philosophy and the emphasis placed on an individual and tailored experience. My actual experience in the salon matched and exceeded my expectations! I was offered a drink on arrival and was given a beautifully presented mint tea with my favourite biscoff biscuits. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with salon owner David who made me feel comfortable right from the start and was so accommodating to my needs. He was so personable and kind, I really enjoyed our conversation, so much so I forgot I was having my hair done! The end result was nothing short of perfect and exactly what I had asked for. I feel so much more confident in myself and I am extremely grateful to David. He is an exceptional stylist and I will absolutely be returning and recommending the salon to others, including my mum who has just moved here and is looking for a new trusted hairdresser! “Lucy is great and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing a dog groomer. We get so many compliments on how well our show spaniel is trimmed and it’s a testament to Lucy’s experience and professionalism. Her communication and reminders are brilliant and pricing is very reasonable for the level of service she provides. Lucy shows much pride in her work and care for our dog and it is evident she is like this with all of her dogs based on how busy she is with all of her regular clients! We have used a bigger groomer company previously when our dog was a pup and he was so overwhelmed with the noise and other dogs he used to come out shaking and so stressed; Lucy’s 1:1 set up is absolutely perfect, especially for more nervous dogs and we haven’t looked back.”

“Dining at Brasserie Blanc was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay at the Delta Hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, the beautifully designed interior transported us to a different world. The space is bathed in natural light, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and uplifting. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us with warmth and generosity, even seating us in what must be the best spot in the house. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional—genuine, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the Dressed Devon Crab and the Pan-Fried Sea Bream, both bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and perfectly presented. Paired with a bottle of their delicious white wine, it was a meal to remember. So memorable, in fact, that we ended up enjoying a second bottle as we lingered over dessert. Speaking of dessert—what a treat! The Wye Valley Rhubarb Crumble was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, while the Pistachio Soufflé was light, airy, and full of flavor. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Brasserie Blanc is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience we’ll fondly remember and gladly recommend. Can’t wait to return!”

“The best gel manicure in Manchester! Even though I don’t live locally anymore, I still travel here when I want my nails doing. And my mum does the same who travels from Birmingham! The staff are so friendly and always remember who we are. The owner even remembered when I was getting married and sent me a bottle of champagne to say congratulations! “A decent Marriott Hotel, which has had good investment over the years. Well presented with nice external / outsourced dining of a good standard. Well worth a stop if using the airport to go on Holiday. Good for when you need to entertain at a restaurant. Would not hesitate to recommend, good chain of hotels with decent standards at all times.”
