“I just had a brilliant meal! The food was fantastic, especially the Cal-Italia – all the flavours and the portion size were on point. The staff were super friendly and attentive, checking in on us and making sure we were enjoying everything. My only tiny gripe was that it got a bit loud as the night went on, but that didn't spoil the experience. Overall, I left feeling really happy and would definitely recommend it!”

It's literally a pleasant 5-minute stroll from there, and you'll work up just enough appetite for what's coming. Our waiter was an absolute legend - had us laughing while being completely on the ball with service. You know when someone's genuinely enjoying their job? That was this guy. Went for the tonno pizza (because who doesn't love a good tuna pizza?) paired with an alcohol-free Peroni - surprisingly decent! Couldn't resist the tiramisu to finish, and honestly, no regrets there whatsoever. The place itself is lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean, and the whole team clearly knows what they're doing. “I used to live in Manchester and somehow never tried this place before! We were visiting for work and decided to stop by Tampopo for lunch – and yes, it was the right choice. The food was banging, full of flavour, and fairly priced. The ramen was especially great, and the kids’ menu was a hit – massively approved by the little ones, which is always key! Great service too. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.”

“Intimate little restaurant serving fabulous food, all cooked on order by owner and Chef, Mandy. The paella is the best I have ever tasted but don't forget to check the specials board as well. When everything is so good it's ideal that it's tapas, perfect for sharing with family and friends. Menu prices are very reasonable and as it's BYOB, you save money bringing your own alcoholic drinks. (Edit ; they charge that small an amount for corkage i never even noticed until they replied to this review) Friendly, attentive staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere complete the picture, making this one of my favourite places to bring the people that I love. x”

“I ate here last night with my two children and it was amazing. The food was delicious, fresh, came out quickly, and looked fantastic. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was lovely and clean. It was my 8-year-old's birthday and the staff made him feel so special. They brought out his cake with a sparkling candle and happy birthday music playing. He loved it!”

“Just been here this evening for the first time to celebrate my daughter’s 21st-family of 10. From the minute we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. “We went on Saturday night to try the dinner menu and ordered a set of small plates. They were all excellent. I don’t even know which one was my favourite! But the tuna tartar, pea risotto, tempura, and the lemon sole were absolutely amazing. Do not miss the orange flavoured white wine from Mendoza Argentina. It significantly enhanced our experiences, highly recommended! The service was attentive, knowledgeable abs kind. The atmosphere also provided a relax and mellow environment. The music played was also the right volume (hate it when some places are so loud you just want to leave!) We will definitely be back very soon.”

The Bun Cha (fishcake noodle soup) is the one to order; the flavour in that broth really is something special! You can tell these guys really care about the food.
