“This establishment is an ABSOLUTE diamond in terms of food quality and staff. I have to say, this place serves the BEST bacon sandwich ever. Beautiful thick sliced doorstop bread, top quality bacon cooked to exactly how you like it, perfect crispy. Brown sauce. Their coffee is really really really good!! “My son and I went in half 6 Saturday evening having just phoned ahead to check. Pub was bustling with a good atmosphere and the restaurant was filling up. Lovely friendly staff tended to us throughout the meal which was delicious! I had the chicken fillet, which had lovely crispy skin and the caramelised onion and potato gratin was fantastic and all held together with a great sauce. He had rump steak, medium rare, which was really nicely cooked. Desserts were equally good. I had sticky toffee pudding which was moist with lots of toffee sauce and a really generous helping of ice cream. He had the chocolate and salted caramel cake which was chocoholics heaven! Highly recommended.”

“I have not been to the March Hare in a while due to the last few visits being very disappointing . Todays vidit has definitely changed my opion. We were greeted by the assistant manager Gav, he was pleasant and accommodating. We had not booked but he managed to squeeze us in. The waitress Georgia was very pleasant and professional. The food was lovely and service was prompt. 2 empty plates. The refurbishment was in character and creates a family friendly atmosphere. The outdoor area has had a much needed upgrade and definitely a place I will visit on a sunny day. The toilet upgrade is definitely a vast improvement . Excellent selection of drinks including a vast variety of zero alcohol. I would highly recommend it .”

“Amazing food and a relaxed atmosphere. Food is good quality and reasonably priced around £15-25 per person. The loona rice was my absolute favourite... highly recommend it. “Always amazing food. I go here once a week and the food is always brilliant. The soft noodles are the best I've ever had, and the Roast Pork Foo Yung is just amazing. My other favourites are the meat dumplings and the crispy spring rolls. I honestly haven't had anything I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Best Chinese for miles!”

“My favourite Indian restaurant in the area. It does not go for an upmarket "authentic" style rather this is honest good value "Indian" food aimed at British taste. BYOB a huge bonus. Some sound-absorbing soft wall coverings would help as (see other reviews) it can get very noisy. But fortunately not for us this last visit !”
