“I have studied with OU as well as other universities for many years. I hold three degrees with OU and two with other universities. I can confidently say that the teaching I received was at least equal, if not superior to that of other 'brick & mortar' universities. Distance learning requires to be self-motivating and some discipline, but if that is present, then the help and advice given by OU's structured teaching is simply superb. I have sent queries to my tutor and got replies very quickly, often at weekends, sometimes near midnight. Similarly, the community of fellow students became life-long friends. If you are wondering whether to take a degree with OU I would say - go for it.”

My sons developed in so many ways , he can be quite stubborn at the best of times , standards here are super high and work with every single child needs no matter how high or how low. Staff are incredibly on form with teaching and how they run things and have a very highly standard of professionalism which you can see. They are open and honest with each parent . Reporting back each day if anything needs to be addressed or reported. There on form with everything. Highly recommended nursery for your child to go too especially if your wanting a nursery for your child with such high standards of learning and still at the same time as your child being able to still be a child at the same time”

Staff are well trained on how to support children. I have seen good examples of staff implementing strategies to help support development. “My son went to this nursery from 9 months old until he left for school in September. All the staff are so caring and loving, like a family away from home - three of his key persons particularly standout, Katie G who was his first in Bunnies and supported his transition into nursery life, Jess for support with his speech and language while he was in Fox Cubs and Malaika while he was in Owls for nurturing his curiosity through her experiments. His first parents evening at primary school was full of positives and he is hitting or exceeding all his targets, part of this is the play and experiences he had while being at Footsteps! “Today we had our youngest daughters 1st birthday here after having our eldest daughters 1st birthday here 3 years ago. Once again the staff were amazing, they really do want your child to have the best party. Prices are more than reasonable and the food is great. “I love this store everyone is so friendly and helpful but a special shout out to Kate on the checkout today 3/9/25 who, when I asked for a small plastic bag to put ‘smelly’ onions in, explained that, wanting to be more eco friendly, they didn’t supply small plastic bags anymore, which I agreed was fair enough, however, Kate then went to the trouble of asking a colleague to get a paper bag from the bakery for me which I really appreciated.”
