“We have only ever had the take aways when we want to treat ourselves. We have lived in Saddleworth almost 8 years now and we have really struggled to find a decent Indian restaurant, it has always been hit and miss. There was never any consistency, sometimes good, sometimes bad…HOWEVER I think this is by far our favourite place! We keep going back! The poppadoms are always amazing, every single time, not full of oil and greasy tasting, their Lime Pickle is gorgeous and the food is delicious. The lamb chops are a favourite and you can tell there is no cheat, they have been properly marinating in the delicious spices. The tandoori spices must be a family secret, to die for. Most definitely recommend if you want a genuine taste of India. And it is a plus there is minimal plastic waste:)”

“Went last weekend for meal with friends. Host was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Service was promt. Food was excellent, served hot, portion sizes great, and so tasty!! Had the gobi manchurian, shared lamb chop starter. My friends and I had a fabulous time.....Will definately be going again soon, highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Wow, this place is amazing! This is the first time my partner (Kieran) and I have ordered from here, and it most certainly won't be the last. The chicken in the korma was beautiful - so tender with absolutely no fatty bits. My partner said the same about his lamb too. The authentic pilau rice.. the garlic and coriander naan which was so garlicky... the heavenly salt and pepper chips - everything was quite simply PERFECT. They even gave us some free tikka bites, along with a lovely handwritten message welcoming us to the place. The delivery guy was so friendly too. I simply can't fault this place - and that's coming from someone who can be quite picky. All that's left to say now, is THANK YOU!”

“Gatley Tandoori Restaurant which is next door and separate to it's Takeaway. I visited for a family birthday celebration. Parking was on the street unfortunately some people had a walik. The restaurant doesn't have a alcohol licence but a supermarket and off licence are close by, the restaurant has information about them post on a wall. A number of children were present at our function and they were catered for. The staff were very polite and accommodating even with the children. A birthday cake was presented to the guest of honour. I can't testify as to whether or not the property is adequately wheelchair accessible as I'm not wheelchair bound but I can add that they do have disability toilet facilities grab bars and handrails etc. Hot & cold water was available (I've been to properties that don't have hot water). The property was clean and and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately I can't vouch for the vegetarian or dietary options. A Good time was had by all.”

“Really friendly and kind staff, clean shop and fast service. Perfect for getting some quick protein after your run. Good, clean and well lit takeaway where you can check your phone, have a breathe and eat. Very pleased with the chicken I had but I would recommend some more pepper, add some paprika and a dash cumin and it would be amazing. Great value, lovely staff, good food very pleased!”

“This is the best jalebi place in Rusholme, if you are looking for the crunchy, thin hot jalebi. Friendly and welcoming staff and all the food is freshly prepared on order. Their traditional halwa puri breakfast is yum and great value and it’s available every day and all day.”

“Pretty much used this place for almost 18 years ! Tried other places when this was shut and no measure up ! Sometimes have to wait other times not depends on traffic ect. food is always bang on and I have a very specific order which is always followed.”

“First time customer. Went to the shop to order as it's close to home. It was busy (Sunday 6.30ish) always a good sign. Chose the Cocktail Masala, with Garlic Nan, Onion Bhajis, Poppadoms and usual accompaniments. The guy apologised for the wait which was only about 15mins or so which was less than I expected but they have that many Chefs it shouldn't have surprised me. It's an open kitchen, very clean, and reasonable prices. Will def be going back and definitely recommend.”

“This was our first meal from Armaan's. We have tried everywhere with living in the area for over 60 years. Where we live we are spoilt for choice but more often than not food from some takeaway's food turn up cold or tasteless. Armaan's Kitchen was a good move the food was 'bang-on' and piping hot. The guy who delivered the food was really nice too and introduced himself. So, overall a really nice dining-in experience. Thank you and well done we will definitely order from here again.”

“Love the food from this place. The curries are really really tasty and the pizza's are really good especially the dough and tomato sauce. They have so much to choose from on the menu. Ignore the bad reviews as in my experience I have never come across anything bad. Delivery times will take longer at busy times like anywhere else but always within the time stated so just order at a quieter time if you can and food is always piping hot.”
